Standlee 1300-20021-0-0 Premium Orchard Grass Grab & Go Compressed Bale, 50 Lbs

Great product at an outstanding price our 21 Guinea pigs love it! We use standlee Timothy hay and orchard grass for value.

For the past 6 years I have taken in ten guinea pigs that needed a home, so I have purchased several of these large bales of Orchard Grass from Standlee. Every pig Ive ever had usually preferred orchard over Timothy, so I offer them both types. Ive tried several brands but the Standlee has been consistantly fragrant, vibrant green and had few stems vs blades. There was one exception, in which it was about 60 percent stems and the pigs wont eat those. It has to do with when its cut during the growing season. First cutting has the most stems 3rd and 4th are much better, or so Ive heard. This was the first bale I bought in this wrapping, rather than the cardboard box all the previous ones came in. If you're listening, Standlee, please charge the extra dollar or whatever the box costs and go back to it. My wrapping was ripped in several places, revealing the hay underneath.

This hay was extremely dusty, my rabbits tried it and than wouldn’t even touch it when I gave them a little. They started sneezing and coughing, now one has a little bloat due to the hay and because of the dusty runny eyes.The dust is so bad you can smell the hay through the house from the opposite end of the house. It is now making me sick, sore throat, eyes burning, trigging my asthma very bad. My kids are having issues too from the hay.The customer service through the company is ridiculous, refuse to refund for both bales. Never buy from this company. I will now only buy Oxbow!

Hay arrived in two days!! It’s very soft and green! My bunnies love it!!

We had some allergy problems with Timothy hay and this grass cleared it up completely! Our rabbit loves it and hasn’t had any negative digestive issues. The only negative is the price. It’s three times more expensive than the Timothy hay.

My guinea pig's go crazy for standee hay. It's the one hay that doesn't cause respiratory issues for my babies.

Product is okay in pinch, horses do not like it like true bales orchard grass.
