Transformative Instruments
For so many years my perception of the sacraments was incorrect...they are NOT holy moments! Validity of a sacrament was well explained, too.

Excellent writing to understand the Church
This review of the sacraments really helped me to have a deeper understanding of my Church. Knowing the historical perspective further enhanced my appreciation of participation in the sacraments.

Very well-written, insightful, and helpful for anyone growing in their faith!
I was overall impressed by reading the book. Given my busy work schedule, the book was a thrill to read and understand our faith and sacraments. I appreciate knowing the history, the basis, and the "point" behind each of our Sacraments while considering other sacraments in life. Highly recommended.

Favors from God
Well written; This reading helps to understanding how God communicates His Love for us via the sacraments and how he renews His Covent with those who reach out for his saving grace to become one body (the Church) of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Good book for Sacramental Basics
The book is well written. However, the author leans a little on the modernist side. He calls into question the historicity of parts of Sacred Scripture which is contrary to the Catechism. If we can't rely on the Gospels being a historically accurate portrait of Christ, then what can we rely on?

sacramental knowledge
A very good book. But, difficult to read because all the pages fell out of the book bind...poor glue used. If you can get over this, the book is quite informative.

Introduction To the Topic. Don't expect more.
This book is intended to introduce the reader to the theology of the sacraments and it fulfills that purpose very well. It does not go in depth into the topic so if you are looking for such a work then you would be better served by other books.I had to use this book for a course called "Introduction to the Sacraments" and it was an excellent choice of book.

I'm happy that I didn't need to spend so much on ...
It was a required text for university. So far, it has been helpful with my assignments. Although, I do wish that the Kindle app would show the actual page numbers. It's hard to reference without page numbers. But that's not Stasiak's fault. Overall, I'm happy that I didn't need to spend so much on a required text.
