I have used this particular brand & model before. Dispensed by my Orthopedic Dr.. However, he has introduced at least three other brace/supports in the last 2 years. None of which I can wear. If you have an issue with thin skin, tender to the touch. You don't want reinforced stitching with aluminum inserts. It only causes more pain. This support is soft enough to be comfortable and non abrasive to your skin. Whilst giving your thumb and wrist complete support.I am in need of three surgeries on my right hand. And have tried at least 10 different support products to relieve discomfort over the past decade. This is by far the best solution for me. I have arthritis in my thumb and wrist. No cartilage between those bones. Also Carpel tunnel. This item supports both issues. The only downside I see to this product is...they wear out rather quickly. ( 3 to 4 months) The velcro separates on the strap that crosses over the back of your hand. That being said, I wear mine 18 hours out of the day. In my case I cannot take the time out for surgery recovery. It will imped my work for to many months. So this is the best alternative I have found. I wish u well in finding your best solution.

This item has really helped my arthritic thumb! I don’t know what I did without it, but grateful to have it., I’m not sure if I’ll need a replacement in a few weeks because I wear it so much, but will cross that bridge if I have to. Great purchase!

Fit is good and it helped by hand.

My doctor recommended this brace for the arthritis in my thumb which was hampering my guitar playing. I'm a working musician and this brace has been fantastic in giving support to my wrist while playing guitar, biking, and riding my bike. HOWEVER...it's been less than five months and the velcro has torn and worn down and essentially become useless. I'm hoping the manufacturer is reading this...did you design it to be replaced every 4.5 months with daily use or do you expect it to last longer...perhaps you'd like to replace it for me free???

Good product

This is my 2nd Comfort Cool appliance. I use one for sports and one for everyday and I couldn't live without them! I did have to cut the fabric around the thumb area for a perfect fit, but no problem. I highly recommend Comfort Cool for arthritic thumb and hand support.

I have Osteoarthritis of my right hand/thumb and this brace works very well.

Product advertised as Medium, Right. But when you look at the product details, it states Medium+. This should have been specified in the product title. Too big for my hand to provide any support.
