Good medium duty stuff sack
This is a good bag fo the price. This bag does run small but I found the listed volume to be accurate. I ordered the XL podsac to fit my snugpak sleeper lite / military bivvy combo and it was just the right size. I imagine this stuff sack would not be a good fit for family camping sized, comfort centric sleeping bags, it is more for backpacker type minimalist bags and for that it is a good stuff sack. The nylon bag is on the thick side and should hold up well for medium and hard use. The compression straps and buckles are on the small size but should work fine as long as care is taken during use i.e. not trying to compress the bag with undue force. I would categorize this as a stuff sack, not a compression sack.

Good bag but needs a dust / rain flap and maybe wider straps
This is a nice bag for the price. I ordered size XL to fit my kid's bulky Coleman sleeping bag. We could not fit the rolled sleeping bag into the stuff sac even if it was rolled up very tight - as the diameter of the rolled bag was too large and this stuff sack does not give at all at the opening. So we switched methods and stuffed the unrolled sleeping bag into the stuff sac - I guess that's why it's called a stuff sack:) We were then able to get the old conventional sleeping bag into the sack and close it up for compression! The compression straps are only 3/4" wide and seem a little dainty for the job of an 'XL' bag. The compression strap buckles are in a bad spot: If the sack is full or nearly so before you start compressing, the compression strap buckles are positioned at the top of the bag directly over the opening. This makes it hard to both compress the sack and draw the straps tighter. The buckles also interfere with each other in this position when you try and compress the sack! The buckles also tend to snag on and drag open the sack top as the straps are drawn tight over a full load. It would be much better if the straps buckled on the side of the bag even when full, but it is workable as is just a bit more fiddly. There is also no dust / rain cap. Most compression sacks have one. You'll have to find a spare bit of impermeable fabric somewhere else to make your own dust cap. For instance if you use these on dual-sport motorcycle camping trips, a dust cap is pretty essential. The sack is typical European sizing - where 'XL' really means medium or large. Most other brands of XL stuff sacks give you 2 to 3" more diameter and at least 3" more vertical. It seems no one at Podsacs has ever been to Texas :) Also note the sack capacities: Small = 7 liters; Medium = 10 Liters; Large = 15 Liters; XL = 20 LitersAll in all it seems well made, and for the sub-$19 price I give it four stars.

Not impressed
Sizing is very inaccurate! Even though it says extra large this sack will barely fit one sleeping bag.

A couple of major design issues make this a "meh" purchase.
Thought I'd save some money over the Granite Gear, Sea To Summit or REI branded bags which are twice the price. The numerous positive reviews led me to the purchase. However, I would have been better served had I realized that none of these reviewers had ever used a *good* stuff sack; otherwise, they wouldn't rate this so highly.Gripes:1) no cover flap to keep out dirt and water, just a cinch cord2) material is thicker and heavier than competing products3) there are only *two* straps and they're the ones in the picture. This is very misleading as typical compression straps have 4 straps on opposite sides from each other. These two straps loop completely around the bag making adjustments very difficult and imprecise since there's only two adjustment points.4) The sizing isn't great. The "Large" is only 15 liters, which isn't particularly large. It probably won't hold a sleeping bag or anything like that.Had I known more, I would have probably looked at the PodSac "Spider" which is what a stuff sack should look like. However, they're about 50% more expensive making the savings over the brand-name products is much less significant.I'd send it back but that would probably cost me 50% of the purchase price in shipping, so I'll probably just keep it. Lesson learned.

NICE CONSTRUCTION CONFUSING SIZE
1) LACKS A TUCK IN RAIN FLAP ON TOP TO PROTECT CONTENTS FROM DIRECT RAIN2) NO CLEAR INDICATION OF SIZE - SHOULD INDICATE CUBIC INCHES DIRECTLY RATHER THAN DESCRIBE WHAT PARTICULAR BAG WILL FIT

Great compression sac
I purchased this bag to hold 2 feather pillows. It is the perfect size for this. I travel/camp on my motorcycle and these are of great quality and help with the limited space. Best "bang for the buck" out there

Pod Sacs 261652 Large Compression Sac
This little compression sack is incredible! I use it to save a bit of room on my overnight kayak trips. I usually can get a few t-shirts and some boxers into it as well as a small fleece sleepingbag I use for warm nights. Takes those items and compresses them into roughly 5 inches in thickness!

Not the size I thought I was buying, but a quality product.
I meant to buy the large, 15 L sack for my sleeping bag, but ordered the 10 L medium on accident. My sleeping bag (20º long-sized North Face Bighorn) does not fit the medium sack but I'll keep it anyways to store clothes in when I go backpacking. I may buy the large size, too, since these sacks look so good.
