And now the Grimms are loose in the world again and on a rampage. It doesn’t look like Nate and his friends are going to be able to defeat them this time around unless something drastically changes. And if they lose this battle, the rest of the Grimms will return to the world to destroy all things magical!Nate is a zany character that you quickly come to enjoy. He’s really funny, and the tongue-in-cheek humor is amazing. He’s in a tough spot, but he has so much determination and will readily give his life for his friends. This is a real page-turner from start to finish! I highly recommend this refreshingly original book – what a wild ride! I received a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable story if a little repetitive. Overall I enjoyed the story and the development of the characters. However, just having finished the two preceding books the recap of prior events was unnecessary. I look forward to the next book and seeing the links to the Phantom Goddess series play out.

I was hooked after book 1 but I am even more addicted to this series now. I won't spoil it for those that haven't read this, but I did not see the ending coming. This is a great read for any person that loves paranormal fiction.

Nate Temple is a great urban wizard. These books run by fast, but the characters sizzle. The action is a flat out foot race start to finish. The universe is equal to the Butcher universe and the characters may actually be superior. What it may lack is character development. But I for one will certainly give them a chance. Billionaire playboy super heroes maybe a bit over done, but give this series a chance. It really is an excellent urban fantasy world and a quick fun read. An amazing combination of science, myth, magic and explosive violent conflict with a deep beating heart of human frailty and redemption.

Read the first two in this series, and I hooked and will reading the whole series. I enjoy haw the characters develop and change as the contented story line moves from one book to another. Each book can be read by itself but there is also a continuous link between the books so far in this series that keeps wanting to read the next book. I'm enjoying these books.

I did get this book for free and am writing a genuine review. I am a big fan of the Sandman slim and Dresden files books. i powered through them, then through all, as well as, the game of thrones books. Looking for something to occupy my time I found this starter set. It has the urban wizard in modern times, tying to do the right thing, theme. Of course the antagonist get in the way of the rich wizard, who just want to have a good time and not get bored. It was a good first book to set the stage and character build. I quickly read this and the second book, which I like even better. Doesn't everyone love a smart ass wizards who does not play by the rules, and nearly get himself killed! Also, as a rich playboy he seems to have a wondering eye with the ladies. Unlike Dresden who contemplates do all the wrong things before choosing the right path, or Sandman Slim who uses the power of Satan to do the right thing, Master Temple consistently looks to do the right thing, but has more resources than these other wizards. It gives it a different dynamic, yet fun and exciting. I enjoyed it enough that I am currently reading the third book..

This is one of those series where I want the MC to be a bad@ss but I don't want him to be a Marysue either. In this sequel they drag out learning how to use his powers. Which made me have to fight to get through the 1st 3rd of the book. Then there's his love interest who's down right irratating through most of the book, turning him into a Super Simp. But the 2nd half was good enough to keep me interested enough to check out the next book.

Silver's takes you through a roller coaster of emotions in this leg of Nate's journey. This time he takes nearly all of his people with him. Epic battles, romantic and friendship tenderness, questionable loyalties all play a part in this story. This is a book you want to read twice and then once more!

This book has all you could want vampires, werewolves pack, Achilles and much more including the Brothers Grimm. Nate and friends have to tackle problem after problem thrown at them by a contract out on Nates head this is deadpool meets Harry Potter meets Fifty Shades Of Grey minus the whips and chains, well minus the chains, oh never mind there is chains too. 3rd full installment from Shayne Silvers and it does not dissapoint full of magic action and pop references and keeps you wanting more and more.

Yet another trip with Nate Temple full of twists and turns. Both old friends and enemies put in an appearance, for some their lives will never be the same. Anyone who has ever read any of the fairy tales written by the brothers Grimm will know that they are much darker than the Disney versions, Nate's life also takes a nosedive into darkness, hopefully he can pull himself out again.

Bloody cracking book this. A good paced story, plenty of action, death and violence. I'm really enjoying this series and I cant wait to read what happens next.
