How long does this last?

It last several weeks in the direct sun of the summer. My trim was pretty badly sun damaged and it is holding up much better now.

Does the product remove was residue?

I'm not sure what your question is " does the product remove was residue". I only use this product on exterior plastic trim and it works better than any product I've ever used. Apply with a small sponge. I only use this product and it will not fade plastic like a lot of similar sealants.. It's pricey but worth it.

I see I had a keyboard error, my question is if this plastic trim will remove wax residue from flat and textured plastic trim?

Use a pencil eraser on wax residue on trim. Works every time

Can this be used on a brand new car trim that is still out gassing?

What in the world is gassing? Any who, this product is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE so don't waste your time. Lasteed about a whole day... once hit by water, it's gone. Totally worthless.
