As a redhead, most everything burns like crazy, so when a tried-and-true product is no longer manufactured you hoard the remaining stock knowing it will take years to find a suitable replacement.But Taui No. 1 Egyptian Skin Balm knocked it out of the park with the very first application. Firstly, it calms red, inflamed skin. Secondly, it applies and absorbs quickly. Thirdly, no heavy perfumes or chemicals, just nourishing organic extra virgin olive oil and honey, which is so lightly -- and naturally -- scented that it's almost too good to believe.A pea sized dallop will silken both hands easily. A dime- or nickel-sized dallop more than luxuriously covers face and neck.Warm for a second in your hand for smooth application and gently massage in. A 2-ounce container should last about a month or so.Best part? Glides on with a lovely glow yet rapidly sinks in for a dewy, somewhat matte finish. No more oily sheen to compensate for what my dry skin doesn't produce naturally. I originally purchased this product looking for a replace,ent of the Egyptian Magic Cream. ITS BETTER. I have extremely dry skin and eczema on my hands to where even the dermatologist recommended creams cause my skin crack, peel, and sadly bleed. In the past the Egyptian Magic was my only option, but it is a bit expensive and not easily found. Came across Taui on amazon and gave it a shot. Have to say it is AMAZING. Best over all cream! Perfect for my hands - it actually HEALS MY SKIN and not creates a weird barrier that peels off. I also use it as an under eye cream before going to sleep or applying make up. Also great chap stick.I had a small situation happen, where the first one I ordered was cracked in the mail. The packaging was not secure and although on the outside the box was fine, when I opened it, the lid had chipped. I contacted the seller and decided to still try the product and they immediately sent me a new jar a day later. The customer service was quick, respectful, and great. Other people would give Four stars because of that minor hiccup, but the cream and customer service, I’m keeping the Five. Things happen out of the sellers control and they reacted appropriately.I will definitely be purchasing this again and hope they make bigger sizes! ;)

I read about this product on Illuum. I've been an Egyptian Magic user for a while and liked that this is a more natural version (and a bit cheaper which doesn't hurt lol). It's definitely softer than Egyptian Magic, doesn't have that hard layer on top, and the jar is glass with a cool label (i.e. I can actually keep it on my bedside table instead of hiding it under my bed haha)

I bought this for my face and LOVE it. Its thick but absorbs really well leaving the skin dewy, not greasy. I anticipated this to be my nighttime moisturizer but i pretty much wear it INSTEAD of foundation. But here is the kicker and why this should get more than 5 stars if i could....One night i couldnt find diaper cream for my infant and this was within reach. Well I've never looked back. The TINIEST dab lasts all night, seems to provide a great moisture barrier, and no weird residue to wipe away at the next changing. I know this might not be the intended use of this product, but i love knowing the ingredients being absorbed by my baby's skin and...she's NEVER had a rash since. Now, I only use this once and a while when i see some redness and within a changing or two, her skin is perfect again. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

I bought this stuff out of desperation. I am 31yrs old live in Ohio (wide range of weather, right now dry and cold) and I have very dry, insanely sensitive, acne prone skin (super weird combination). Literally everything makes my skin burn (even cerave/cetaphil products) for about a week my skin had been getting increasingly dry, flakey, itchy and irritated. Specifically at the outer corners of my eyes and from my. One leading to my chin but my whole face was pretty much burning itchy dry and miserable. I tried a bunch of heavier creams and all the suggestions to try to clear it up to no avail, it just kept getting drier. After the first application my skin actually felt soothed. No burning at all, no scent at all, and did not leave my skin looking greasy but more dewy (which I’m always trying to get the dewy look but that’s tough with such dry skin) I’m about a week into using this stuff morning and night and my skin is not only healed but looks far better and feels far softer than it did even before the increased dryness began. I’m obsessed with this stuff and cannot recommend it enough!

This is amazing! I usually use coconut oil and oils because I can’t find a natural product I like, but this has made the top of my list. It’s also fantastic for my boys super dry skin, definitely beats over the counter lotions that burn their dry cracked winter skin.
