Worked for thick crusty mud fever / dermatitis
I was a bit worried after reading mixed reviews, as I’ve spent a fortune over the years, including vet, trying to manage recurrent mud fever / dermatitis on one same hind leg. This year it went from perfect skin to a thick, oozing scabs within days and didn’t respond to anything for two weeks. I’d already decided I needed the vet, but bought this to tide me over the weekend and at least soothe the inflammation as started worrying about cellulitis. Well, I ended up cancelling the vet callout! Within two days there was clear improvement, and after a week the leg was completely clear. I cleared off with warm water and malaseb, towel-dried, and then reapplied. After four applications the healing was so obvious that I even made a paste by adding hot water for my other horse’s mallenders, and again, improvement by the next day. I’m delighted. I rarely write reviews, but this genuinely worked for us and saved me a vet callout. Not the most expensive product I have tried by far! Looks like it is mostly honey with some other stuff, but I've used medical grade manuka honey before and just made a disgusting mess without any significant improvements.

Good for than just mud fever
This stuff is like suda creme but has a nice aloe vera smell to it. I've used for small wounds as well as. My sensitive boys like it. It's good quaility, although I perfer one with a slightly thinner texture. Easy to apply quickly with only a small amount required. It lasts around 24 hours so good value for money.

Does the job
Great product, just be patient it doesn’t look like it’s doing anything initially but it definitely does the job..wish the pots were bigger as needed 2-3!

Great cream
A great cream to keep in stock through the wet weather. I found this cream very effective and it does stay in place creating a barrier. It cleared up a nasty patch of mud rash with a little time and patience. It will now be my go to cream if any more develop in this very wet winter.
