What Would Audrey Do?: Timeless Lessons for Living with Grace and Style

Very cute book and very entertaining.

I love Audrey Hepburn's way of life and not only did this teach you how to be more like her, it also explained a bit about her life. Each chapter explains something about her life then goes on to tell what she would do in certain situations. I thought this book was super cute.

This is one of the books that Amazon offered for a very special price! The trio of books was in honor of what would have been Audrey's 85 birthday! Buy yours while they still offer the trio. This is the best book a Mother could buy for her teenage or older daughter(s) to teach the proper ways of being a lady. I find the book much more enlightening than some of my collection of books on manners, which I bought except for my last one, which my Mother purchased because it is a totally humorous take on manners but this book would be my choice if I had daughters. It's a Mother's job to teach her children proper etiquette but why not do it the easy way with this charming book that makes Mother's work simple: just gift wrapping it upon arrival and giving it as a surprise.

This is a fun read. A clever look at how Audrey Hepburn lived her life that is a must for fans and interesting even for casual readers. Part mini-biography and part fashion/lifesyle guide, it's cleverly written and never dull. Well researched (there are a few glitches here and there: Audrey did not play a lesbian in "Children's Hour", Shirley Maclaine did. And there is no evidence that Kate Hepburn was bisexual...)there were tidbits even I had never read about Audrey before (and I thought I'd read it all. Audrey and JFK? It's here!) Audrey was a class act in her life and her career and the world would be a better place if more people followed the principles that guided her life.

If you are an Audrey Hepburn fan, you’ll love this

I found out all sorts of little-known facts about Audrey Hepburn. I also got more of a sense of who she was as a person, and a glimpse over her life overall. Not only was she one of the most beautiful people ever, but she's an inspiration to me by what she overcame and did in her life, especially at the beginning and the end. This isn't quite a biography, but you will find out a lot about her!

As a huge Hepburn fan, I found this book to be just...okay. There are no pics of Audrey, just mimikky drawings. And though the advice is good, I don't beleive Audrey Hepburn would have populated any store just because the author thinks she would if Audrey were alive today. Furthermore, the book suggests that you can only shop here or buy that to be "truly Audrey." But what everone needs is to carry her spirit more than her "look." Unfortuneately, this book never really shares this enough with the reader. A far better book would be "How To Be Lovely," by Mellisa Hellstern. It is brimming with quotes and photos of Audrey at every stage of her life, and isn't afraid to show the close-ups of Audrey as she aged without the help of a scalpel. Audrey Hepburn proved the old adage, To be beautiful on the outside, you must first be beautiful on the inside.

A fantastic biography, hand-guide hybrid on Audrey Hepburn! I learned some new things about Audrey and picked up some older etiquette along the way!

Unfortunately the cover of the book was stained and damaged.

Bought as a gift for my teenage Granddaughter, (unsurprisingly not my kind of reading!) She loves it.
