Massive improvement over stock
These do everything better than my stock Tektro pads. The initial bite is better, the stopping power is better, they're smoother, they even got rid of the hydraulic gurgling that I got with even moderate braking with the Tektro pads. The noise level is slightly higher, but not enough to bother me, and very much worth it for all the other improvements. BTW, if you're tempted to pull the wheels to change the pads, don't. It's easier and faster to pull the calipers. When you reinstall them before fully tightening the bolts pull and hold the brake lever, then tighten the bolts. This insures that the caliper is perfectly aligned with the rotor.

A bit too much brake pad material, but overall excellent stopping power
I ordered the sintered pads which work well on the 3 mile downhill stretch on my commute. The pads have a bit too much material so right from the get go the pad was dragging on the rotor even though my calipers were pressed all the way back in. At first I was going to belt sand a bit of material off but ended up using my old brake rotors to clearance the pads to where they weren't dragging anyone. Once the pads stopped dragging I put on my new floating rotors and then bedded the brakes in again. I have Super73 S1 and the bike is about 70lbs. I am 210 so the pads have to stop a lot of mass especially going downhill. I traded the ability to modulate the brake lever for an increased absolute braking power. After 2 days of commuting the pads and new rotors were meshing well and I am a lot happier with the braking power compared to my old resin pads. If the pads came with .5mm of less material I would've given them a 5 star rating. The brakes I have on my e-bike are the Tektro HD-E350s

Great replacement pads for my REI mountain bike
I bought these pads to replace completely worn out brake pads on my mountain bike. Easy to install. The stopping power is quite amazing and I have not experienced any brake fade so far, even after long periods of braking down hill. I have not experienced noise while braking. (Iโm also very grateful to the Amazon warehouse workers and delivery drivers who got these to me same-day. Thank you; you all saved me as I depend on my bike to get to and from work)

Bought these twice. They worked for a year. They failed at the end in a weird way.
I had these for a year and they failed, so I bought them again. I got the metal ones. When I went to take the old ones off I found the clip that holds them on had slipped off the brake pad, twisted around like a pretzel and was wearing away against my rotors. It wasn't like that when I first installed them and that happened in the last week, because that's when I started hearing weird noises from the back brake. I'm blaming the product because there was still life left on the pad, but giving it four stars because they were loud but they worked for a good while. I'd buy them again.

Good replacement for Tektro M280 pads
I purchased these for a Fuji Absolute 1.9 bike that uses Tektro M280 (low end) mechanical disk brakes. These pads dropped right in, and immediately provided a better feel with less noise then the OEM brake pads. After removing the old pads, I noticed they still had a good amount of material left, and I probably could have adjusted them before replacing. These pads came with a new cotter pin, spring shim and a longer shim that was not needed for my bike. I can't comment on how these will hold up, but if I have any issues, I'll update this review.

Super squeaky!
Great stopping power for my sons e-bike but I can hear him braking from around the corner when he's coming home from school. Very easy to install. Great control and response in our super hilly neighborhood. If it weren't for the obnoxious sound it would be a 5 star review

DO NOT BUY - INSANELY DANGEROUS
Both pads failed at different times in the same manner - the metallic 'pad' came right off the backing/housing from defective fusing or attaching (I saved the sheared housings). The first time I assumed it was because I knocked the pad somehow when putting the wheel back on. I put in a different brand's pad to replace that one as there was almost no wear on these pads. Several weeks later the other pad from this pack failed in the same way - the pad coming apart from the housing WHILE RIDING DOWNHILL. The pad was in no way worn, I'm 150lbs and ride a 20lb bike - that's not much pressure on these brakes. Thank God I I realized it on a straight downhill section of road so I could use my front brake (different brand pads). If it had been a turn, and wet... Possibly a bad batch? Perhaps, I work in manufacturing (with metallic bonding) and the failure rates on safety equipment like this should adhere to the six sigma principles - meaning the chance of two failing is 100 times less likely than winning the powerball - so I'd chalk it up to poor manufacturing quality. I wanted to make sure all cyclists reading this know not to buy this brand - please, for your safety spend an extra $4 and get OEM pads.

Good pads
I installed these on my Dualtron Victor electric scooter which uses the HB-875 full hydraulic Zoom brakes. The pads barely fit in the caliper width wise. I had to grind off some the ends of the backing material because it measures 30.77mm and the Zoom brakes only have a clearance of 29mm. Its possible I have the wrong brake pad size but after some grinding they do work. My Dualtron can reach speeds of 45mph and these pads do a reasonably good job of stopping me completely within 15 ft. It could probably stop me sooner but I don't want to flat spot my tires and be thrown from the scooter via momentum. I have found that in the rain the effectiveness is greatly reduced, to a terrifying degree. It is possible that given my scooter uses 10in tall tires (6in rims) with 140mm rotors, the proximity to the ground plays a part in this. For the TLDR Pros. good for the money long lasting even under sustained abuse not that loud (90% of the time) fits Zoom HB-875 brakes with modification Cons not good in rain too thick for HB-875 brakes to avoid rotor rubbing requires modification to fit on HB-875 brakes
