MoellerMarine Boat Deck and Baitwell Plug (3/4") (051007-10)

Bought a boat that lacked a hull plug. I used a cork from a whiskey bottle but that leaked a little. This is better. No leaks.

I bought these bailer plugs to replace the non-reusable drain plugs on a Max Buffalo Ampibious ATV six wheeler dumptruck. The manufacturer, Recreative Industries, doesn't encourage this replacement for some absolutely unknown reason. They are a perfect fit and an outstanding upgrade. The nice thing about them is that the pressure plate on the bottom of the plug is of slightly smaller diameter than the rubber stopper providing for much easier insertion than some of the competitors' plugs which have a wider pressure plate. Shipping from this vendor is a little slow, but in my case that wasn't a problem.

The Moeller Boat Deck Plug was perfect - not only was it easy to install, but it performed as hoped - i.e., no leakage. More importantly, it helped to fulfill a several-years-old-dream to go sculling on a creek of the Chesapeake Bay in my lover's boat. He did the rowing, and I was able to lie back on a bed of pillows and pretend it was the 19th Century. Life is not perfect, but some days are. Thanks Moeller!

Yep it is a plug, it stops water, it also will let water out when removed or in when removed depending on if you boat is in or out of the water.

These 3/4" baitwell plugs are a non-standard size and thus, not readily available in my local boating stores. The price was excellent, they fit well and seal well. Plugs can be adjusted by turning the center screw. Very satisfied. Please note, these come from Amazon individually; if you need a pair, be sure to order two.

This Moeller 3/4" plug for livewells: the handle broke off the 2nd time I went to use it. Too flimsy where its handle connects to plug platform. Also I noticed it lost its ability to expand out correctly for it's 2nd use attempt. So maybe Moeller makes decent toilets or something? but I made myself a note to never buy a Moeller drainplug again.Fortunately for me I had bought another brand also at the same time (on Amazon), a brand labelled "Invincible Marine", that brand worked better, it even fit livewell hole way better than Moeller of same advertised "size 3/4".

The plug arrived in the mail and I put it into the hole in our row boat. Now we can can go fishing with out water leaking into the boat from the make shift plug.
