With dovetailed corner joints and a stay-put lid, this tray is sure to last you many years. Tray exterior measures 19.5 x 28.5 x 3.5 inches (interior measures 18 x 27 x 3 inches). Made in the USA! Handmade in our own facility, the only wood shop in the world devoted exclusively to making sand trays and accessories. Recommended for dry use only. For professional, supervised use only.

Review: Great for sandtray therapy - Loooove my sandtray. Pretty sturdy and keeps sand in especially with the built in counter when not in use. Easily slides under couch when not in use. However, be warned it is heavy especially once filled with sand. I filled with 25 lb of sand and it folds just about half way maybe less.

**Q: How well does the cover stay on? Does it have a groove, or some way it seals when shut?**
A: It has a wood lip inside. That keeps it in place.

**Q: Can you stain the pine on the outside?**
A: I think you could. It doesn't seem to have a finish.

**Q: Is this sealed so I can use water in it?**
A: Thanks for writing in. This tray, our Basic tray, is not sealed inside and should be only used with dry sand.

This box was amazing, especially for doing junian sand trey therapy! It is very large. Please be sure to buy plenty of sand to go with it. It holds sand very well and is already getting a lot of use.
