Plastic frame, but seem great
I'm a long time rollerblader that decided to switch to roller skates so these are my first pair. They're solid, I'm pretty big at well over 6 ft tall and near 300 lb and they feel fine. They're smooth, I've used them a bunch of times already and haven't noticed any problems just yet. Of course with so many lace eyelets it takes a little while to get them laced up, but this is normal for a case of this type. I didn't realize this until later but the main part of the frame is plastic. I don't know if that helps with weight or what, but I haven't really noticed any issues with it.
