O.K. so it was cheap, but a piece of kitchen foil would be thicker and probably less bendy.Pay for a better one !!

I bought this one because it was reasonably priced. It's a bit flimsier than I expected but given the price I suppose that's fair enough. That flexibility might not always be a bad thing.

Great for what I needed it for

Sorry, not very good. 0.5mm thick means it’s very bendy and it wouldn’t be too hard for a ballpoint pen, or scribe, to jump off. And yet my old rusty & worn-out rule was 1mm thick and rigid. Shame to skimp on thickness like this. Not recommended.
