USB C Hub, Aluminum USB C Adapter with PD Port, 1 HDMI 4K Port, 1 USB 3.0 Port, 1 USB 2.0 Port, for Type C Laptops

I was using all four of my MacBook's ports to dock my laptop and needed more, but with this hub I only need two ports.I got this for my MacBook Pro laptop that docks on a stand as my main computer at home. I plug in a 27" HDMI monitor, external keyboard, speakers, and charging dock for my iPhone. This small hub allows you to connect the essentials while just using one USB-C port on your laptop. My particular MacBook Pro uses an 87 watt charger, so it cannot charge with this hub per the item description, but I used an Apple USB-C to USB adapter so I get 3 USB ports instead. By the way, I tried plugging in my MacBook charger and it worked for a couple minutes, but the hub got really warm and shut off. That was to be expected and good news I think because that means there is some type of protection built into the hub, and it probably won't start a fire or electrocute your devices.It is so convenient to have everything already plugged into the hub so when you dock your laptop you just plug in one thing and you're done! It also cleaned up a lot of clutter and allowed me to keep wires more out of view. It is a close enough color match to Apple's Space Gray, but it is not the same if you care about aesthetics. The build quality and feel are good. It does not feel cheap.Overall I think this is a solid hub at a good price, and I would recommend it.

It solved the issue I have having connecting external drives to the S9, because the S9 didn't provide power for long enough to transfer large video files (2GB+). So far this connects the LG Nexus 5x I use for a dash cam to my Galaxy S9 so I can transfer files while charging both the Nexus and the S9. It also connects the S9 to a 512GB mSATA drive in an external case. I haven't been able to get a connection that actually works with my GoPro Hero4, but I haven't tried all my min-B cables yet. And, I haven't tried the HDMI yet.

This did the job...until it overheated and stopped doing the job. My husband plugged the charger into it, which probably wasn't smart, but even after I pulled that out and let it rest for a while, it overheated with just my bluetooth mouse usb plugged into it. Forget about the HDMI port.

2nd edit(and last) : so they got me a new one and my money back, unfortunately the product remained the same with a 402 disk mark score (14% of drives should be at 70+). So the product is slow, but if you are simply charging a phone or something then this is fine. I will give it 4 stars instead of 3 for the amazing customer service.EDIT: the seller has seen that I had a possibly bad product. Not only have they sent me a new one, but they are fully refunding my purchase, that alone deserves 5 starts, I will update this when the new one comes and see if the performance improves.Will update when new one comes It’s overall very slow. The build is nice. I put an enclosured ssd that should be running at 50b/s and was only running at 18 which shows me that the cable is cheap. From the outside is great. Also I hooked up a monitor and was not usable at all. It would flicker nonstop just pushing the screen left and right. I now use a different one

The product looks good and solid. Unfortunately, it does not last as long as expected. I won't recommend it to anyone who needs to use the USB ports.

HDMI and charging are fine. I keep a dongle in the USB 2.0 for my mouse and keyboard. Today I connected a USB 3.0 thumbdrive to the USB 3.0 port and it disabled the dongle as long as it was connected. Not sure if other peripherals will do the same thing but this was inconvenient to say the least. I'm using this with a 15" MacBook Pro 2018.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Used this for a Dex replacement for Note 9. Works great. Also used it for transferring some video from Pixel 3. Works perfectly.

Works. Cheap. Nuff said.
