All birds chew, and so, they shred also, and this was the right choice for my out of the cage birds and gives them more things to do than I have. It keeps them busy, and happy. The inside of the cage is so full of toys it is hard to see the birds, and outside of it all, more hanging toys. They just go in the cage to sleep, and eat some of the food in there that is escentual and so onward to tomorrow. There is food in many places, but sometimes they have to stay in for longer times if I leave for a bit, that way they are safe. But when I return, four little beady eyes are hanging on the cage door waiting to fly out. J Arianne

My parakeets absolutely love this toy! They enjoy nibbling and biting the strings, and they really love the wooden cookies! This is a durable toy and has lasted a long time!

My birds won’t touch this thing. It’s sturdy and well made (it’s a rope with knots 😉). I have put all kinds of things in the cage for them to chew up, but they just don’t. I’m sure a little larger bird would probably find it wonderful to chew on.

Our parakeet enjoys the tassel strands at the bottom of the toy, but finds the wooden discs too smooth and/or hard to bite at.

My parakeet wouldn’t go near this toy for some reason. I gave it to my Senegal and he destroyed it instantly which is to be expected.

My birds absolutely love this. They’re always playing with it and picking at it, they can’t seem to get enough of it. I attach millet sticks to the end sometimes and they love swinging it around to get the food. I’ve had it for a few months now and they love it, it holds up great. 100% recommend this to anyone with a bird.

My bird has no use for this toy.
