This tool greatly improves my enjoyment of Grilling. Allows for a cleaner more even heat without use of starter fluid.

Works great, I like the fact that it has a little angle to the lower half makes it easier to get under the charcoal. Also like the fact the cord is a bit longer than the cheap straight ones.

Seems durable & works better than I expected.

Got this to replace an old electric charcoal starter. It started to heat up more slowly than the old one but then got hot enough to start the fire quickly. I wish it was longer; part of the plastic handle still hangs over inside the grill. Still, I consider this an upgrade from the old one.

My husband and I love the large area it covers. Works great. Like the bent shape that fits down in the griller

This device is very useful and easy to use! It had me grilling in no time! In fact, I couldn’t believe how fast the coals were ready! It covers a lot of charcoal at once and the design makes it easy to place inside a deep smoker or grill. The only problem was wear to put it when I was done. It was very hot and I couldn’t put it down on the deck. Would be helpful to have a loop so it could be hung from the utensil hook to cool. Great value as well!

Took a little longer than 8 minutes but I prefer no starter products ,

it’s got a great shape for Kamado style cookers.

Works really well, I tried to go sideways to go underneath the charcoal without moving the charcoal & managed to knock the handle loose, so it kind of swivels now. It still works and all, but don’t use it as a shovel. Because it’s not a shovel. If you use it correctly, you won’t have any troubles. 2 minutes & coals are lit.

It has been since Oct 2021 till now June 2022 and on a average I have used the lighter as per the manufacture instructions 3 times a week.However the power cord is the absolute cheapest part of the whole product and failed at the were it enters the casing. I was able to shorten the cord and rewire it myself but many people would not do this and simply throw it in the garbage. So to compare I had the previous lighter for 10 years and it was antique from the 1970’s a yard sale find. It was made in Canada and obviously of much high quality. Hope this helps someone else.
