5x7 Snap-Hoop For Brother Innov-is 4000D, 2800D, 2500D, 1500 Embroidery Machine

I like this hoop.What I like: Ease of use-I line the top hoop up with the fabric grain, hold it on either end and put it down on the lower part of the frame. Still holding the top hoop and fabric I shove the inner edge up against the stop near the frame holder and make sure the upper frame and fabric are not too high or too low. Minor adjustments may need to be made but like they advertize, there is no fabric distortion. The hoop has the right frame to machine piece and the machine reads it correctly as the size it is.What I didn't like: This got four stars for two reasons. The first is that it had some snaggy edges of glue on the magnet side and that is the side that touches fabric. I use a lot of light loose weave fabrics. Five minutes or less, a nail file and a finger nail was all it took to file and chip excess glue (for the magnets) off the upper hoop. For the price I thought it should have not needed this. The second is that because of space between magnets, satin will not hold in this hoop. Not sure why they didn't use smaller magnets and run them continuously all around the hoop, but there it is.
