Advent Candles Purple and Pink Wax Pillar Christmas Season Set of 4, 6 Inch

Don't know what happened, but I ordered these for our church's Advent. They were a no show, and I can almost believe they may be found next Christmas in our local post office, but not sure. At the last minute, I did manage to find some candles that were not the exact prescribed colors, but doable for our event. I used pillar candles of various sizes and the blue ones were a mottled blue and turquoise. The pink was a mottled pink. Turned out they were much better, looked gorgeous, and a whole lot cheaper, and barely looked used after the entire season of Lent.

Having read the product reviews prior to purchase I wasn't sure if the candles were white wax with a color coating or solid colored wax. I was relieved that they were solid colored wax, and worked perfect for my church's Advent service. Each candle came packaged in a sturdy box to prevent damage during shipping. I was very happy with the quality and value, and will definitely buy them again next year!

Very satisfied with these candles. Pleased that the entire candle is colored rather than just the outside. Have only used them one season, but would recommend. Packaged very well. There were to scrapes or dings in the candles.

The color, size and quality are just what we were hoping for! For some reason, the wick of the very first candle we tried to light would not stay lit. But I "operated" on it a little and now it's just fine. Doesn't drip and cause a mess. We are only in the first week of Advent, so we will know by the end of December just how good these candles perform. But so far, even with the misfire on the wick of the first candle, we are very pleased.

I ordered Navy Blue, but since my colors are light and dark blue, these candles are just right.

I read about so many shipments received with broken candles. We did not experience that at all. The candles were well packed and arrived in perfect shape. The color of the three purple candles is uniform. We will see how they burn next Advent.

The item arrived before the eta and was in the condition described. Very happy with my purchase.

The candles burn slowly and the color goes all through the wax, i.e. it isn't a white candle that is painted on the outside. They have been great in our large Advent wreathe in church.
