Now that I am working from home on a more permanent basis, I finally got around to a project I've been thinking about for a long time...how do I properly display all the souvenir pins from my national travels and also celebrate other travels we've made as a family, a couple and by myself. After doing hours of of research to make sure I got the purchase right the first time, I found this item. I could not be happier with the outcome. I reached out to the vendor in advance and let them know what my intentions were. They graciously added a second mounting board to support the pins I wanted to connect to the map. I am very thankful. As you can see from the pictures, this map truly has become the centerpiece of my home office. It's great to look at reminisce and it becomes a conversation piece for my young children, remembering our past travels. The map is thorough and detailed, striking beautiful and the cherry wood is well done and matches my other frames memorabilia in my office (including a case with a collection of baseballs from parks I've visited around the USA). The product arrived in very sturdy and well-protected packaging. I highly recommend this product and the seller was tremendous to deal with. If I was in the market for a similar product, I wouldn't look anywhere else!! Thank you!

I ordered the framed map of the USA as a gift for my grandson. When it arrived the corner of the frame was damaged but PPTM quickly responded with a replacement & saved the day. My grandson LOVES it! A perfect graduation gift for someone about to leave the “nest” & travel the country . . . or the world!

First, the map is beautiful, the amount of detail is incredible. The frame is really nice and the construction is very well done. So I would give 5 stars just for that. But the customer service is incredible. There was a slight flaw in the first map we received. We almost kept it anyway, but decided to exchange it for another one. I set up an exchange on Amazon, and was contacted immediately by the manufacturer. After describing the flaw to them they said they would make a new one for us, and spent an extra day to be absolutely sure that there was nothing wrong with the replacement. They even allowed us to keep the first map, which we donated to a middle school geography teacher. It's a pleasure to work with a company that takes customer service seriously, it's rare these days.

1. As other reviewers have noted, the map has nice colors and has a more sophisticated look than the map with bright, elementary colors. 2. The backing seems solid enough that pushing in pins won't dislodge it from the frame. 3. Frame is basic but nice in the dark color we selected. 4. The personalized brass plaque is really fun. 5. Comes ready to hang and with map pins. 5. Arrived fast --- in about a week, extremely well packed for shipping. 6. The map is a little small for the purpose so if you want to put a lot of pins around a small area you're out of luck. Alaska is not to scale, very small, about 2 inches across so if you want to put a lot of pins in Alaska or really any state, maybe get a separate map for that state. On the other hand, a larger map would be too big for most people, and the size makes the pins you do put in it stand out. 7. Customer service from the seller is good, with a note in the package and a followup email with customer service contacts. 8. We're happy with this purchase for the price.
