We bought this so we could get Channels while we were RV camping in the woods. Its OK, but it constantly tells us we can not watch in HD, so we don't. We really can't tell a difference. It was our first time using, so we shall see....

The only way to get it to work with DIRECTV is to go backwards with the equipment. No HD no DVR so it was a little misleading in the description. The non-service depart was a waste of 2 days finly we paid a repair man out and had him try to make it work but no help so I had to buy a different unit to work with my DirectTv. Someone should do a better job explaining what it takes to work properly. I’m an electrician so I know about wiring but I good not but anything to make it work for me.We told everyone we talked to that I and Am retired and will be traveling and want to use it. This is my home now so my primary residence and I don’t have a home anymore as I sold it so I could start traveling. It may have been different with home setup but that is not for me. Not real hard to understand what I am doing. The DIRECTV man was upset because he couldn’t help and he kept trying to sell us things we didn’t want

Used it up north and it was a breeze. I should have bought one long ago.

Shipped as promised and meets expectations. A tad pricey but there were no other options for this product. Good product

I recently purchased a Winegard G3 portable dish and a Direct TV receiver from Winegard (which is a rental unit from Direct TV. If I cancel my supcription, I need to return it or be charged an additional $400. Direct TV uses Winegard as their reciever distributor). Winegard charged me $199. for the unit. At time of activation, Direct TV charged me an additional $199 to activate. No where in any of the information of receiver from Winegard or from Direct TV when I inquired how to obtain a receiver on my current Direct tv account, was it stated that receiver and set up would cost a total of $398. Additionally, Direct TV held me to a new 24 month contract with penalty for early cancel. Very poor way to treat a long term customer. Aslo worth noting, Direct TV does not broadcast HD through their RV systems, however, Dish does.

This is a good antenna, but I need something else. Therefore, I had to return it to the third party. The refund process for Omni Hop could be better; it took about ten (10) days, and for 2024 that is slow.

Had a bit of trouble setting it up for my Bell 6400hd at first. Contacted Winegard and they provided instructions. Manual does not show how to tune in both 82 and 91. After several tries and rebooting the receiver got it to pick up both satellites. Signal on most channels 82+. Best investment I made for my RV.

Je ne parle pas à travers mon chapeau car j’en ai acheté 3 au total pour mes amis et c’est le même problème donc n’achetez vraiment pas se produit car vous allez le regretter

Product came and pretty much worked out of the box. Set the dip switch’s for your satellite provider, Run the check switch test. Unit found correct satellite in minutes. Although I read reviews that said it was difficult and requires a call to Winegard for help. The instructions could have an addendum for Bell because it doesn’t have specific instructions for Bell. Just follow dish network instructions only with bell settings.
