Poor quality book on Kashmir
SirIt is a very poorly written book on Kashmir. The advertised page notes 782 pages while there are only 234 pages. The research work is also nothing which is very regrettable. The very purpose of book is either to earn money or get publicity. The writer is Indian Adm services person andshould have studied the subject and then write the book. Amazon should verify before giving advertisement. This Case is a bizarre Case.I don't recommend this book to readers as other good books on the subject are available. 782 shown while actual page234! This would earn bad name to. Amazon. Paper used is also not of good quality.

Good but not Great
The author's writing style isn't very fluid but thankfully is quite descriptive and the author has covered the history in small tidbits rather than whole history in one flow .. Otherwise the book is a good introduction for Kashmir's culture,history and politics !

Kashmir deserves a better book than this
Very poorly written. Dumping tidbits of historical information isn't really history.

Kashmir- the land of unity of all religions
A very interesting and lucid reading on the History of Kashmir. Very helpful to know about Kashmir for the last one thousand years. I recommend to everyboy for the reading of this book.
