Train To Busan [Blu-ray] Steelbook Limited Edition

I freaking love this movie. This film checks off two boxes for me. I love zombie movies and I love Korean horror movies. I also like Korean action movies too! Anyone who Is a fan of zombie movies and does not like this film is an idiot. Anyone who doesn’t like films with subtitles must not be able to read. This is the problem with dubbed films. They end up using some wannabe actors out of a college drama class to do the dubbing. I remember when the great John Woo film, HARD BOILED, was first released in the US. It was dubbed. How dare they used some under accomplished white American actor to dub over the great Chow Yun-Fat’s voice? Blasphemy! Anyway - Train to Busan is great!

Upon watching Train to Busan again after not seeing it for a couple of years, I was quite surprised at how well this movie really does zombies horror. I know I might get some hate for this but IMO this is the movie we should've got instead of WWZ.

A movie so well made you can watch it without subtitles and understand it. One of the few zombie movies that understands you must be invested in the characters and not just a gore special effect show. That being said the special effects where top notch.

I LOVED this movie! I've watched it 4 times already. I definitely prefer having subtitles to having it dubbed, but I like that they added both options.

This is a great horror movie . Quite enjoyable and the plot is intelligent which is always a plus. One of the best zombie movies to date .

If your a Walking Dead fan, you won't be disappointed watching this movie.

Buying physical media is rare of late but the steelbook was a nice incentive. I enjoyed this film so much I even watched the prequel animated movie, Seoul Station, which is even more morose than the main feature. The Artwork on the steelbook is stunning, and adorns the inside as well as the back cover. The movie can be seen dubbed or subtitled in English.Train to Busan is another step in groundbreaking Korean cinema that adds to the zombie genre. Without revealing spoilers, the movie is more akin to Zach Snyder’s take on the Zombie Pandemic Genre rather than the prototypical Romero zombie. This fast pass action movie puts its own spin on the undead that truly sets it apart from other movies in the genre that can seem like retreads or money grabs.Only downsides are: there is no digital copy, which was a bit of a bummer but it’s currently free on Amazon for Prime Members, and it isn’t in 4K. The picture and audio, 5.1 DTS HDMA in English and Korean, holds up on my 4K player but I’m a purist when it comes to physical media. None of this detracts from the movie or the steelbook. If you love the genre, Korean Cinema, or limited edition steelbooks this product has what you need. If you wanted a digital copy or a 4K blu ray you may want to pass for now.

I live this steelbook set and I'm loving this movie. I watch alot of movies horror/zombie related but this movie takes it to the next level in you can relate to characters and the like the deeper stuff in this movie. So worth it.

This is one of THE BEST Zombie 🎥s ever made, I will highly recommend this product, I also bought the 4k Ed & put the💿s in the steelbook Ed.This 🎥has great action sequences, bloody gore through out the 🎥,lots of screaming awesome Zombie deaths❗🌟🌟I would also watch the sequel🌟🌟

While having seen this movie already. the steelbook cover is what I wanted instead of that lazy neutral cover on the regular Blu-Ray. really hoping that a steelbook cover will also be done for the sequel 'Peninsula' (another great film)

This was by far my favorite Zombie movie. Lots of action. The English dubbing was painful and ended up watching it with subtitles. But honestly, after 2 minutes you don't even notice it . The steelbook art looks amazing.
