OVERPRICED .. BUT IT'S VERY LIGHT WEIGHT, EASY TO CUT & SHAPE ...
I only buy .5" to get the most value. I've installed a few of these already .. easy to cut with jig saw (metal blade) at about 1/16" over size, then just sand it down on 60 or 80 grit sand paper to the line. The sanded (visible side) is porous and easily absorbs dust, dirt etc... I recommend a few coats of matte clear spray paint to seal which makes it cleanable. Final spacer weight is about 1oz. CON: max 1/2" thick at $15 is way too much for this. I started making my own by sandwich gluing grey/black plastic sheets together .. they are usually 1/8" or 3/16" thick so easy epoxy glue a few layers together for the required thickness. To reduce final weight it's easy to drill a bunch of extra 1/4" holes, does not reduce it's rigidity. Super glue the final spacer to the recoil pad or to the stock to avoid shifting etc..

I'm a tall guy and just bought a new shotgun. This will help me extend my length of pull. The spacer perimeter is really oversized so I'll have to do some sanding to get it to the size of my stock, but that shouldn't be an issue. I bought 2 of these but haven't installed them yet, the recoil pad that came with the gun doesn't work with spacers. I ordered another pad and will install when it arrives.

Amazing product. Whish I thought of it.
Bought this for a rifle the has minimalist buttstock. The stock is about 1inch wide. And with that constantly digging to the shoulder. Made it uncomfortable to enjoy. Was able to shape it to my liking and attach to rifle. Added a normal recoil pad. Function great. Thick enough to allow for custom shaping with a sander.

Very good spacer
Very good spacer, material is lightweight and very easy to sand using a grinder with a 80 grit sanding pad. For finishing I used a 120 and 220 grit sanding blocks. Fitting is perfect.

Easily Customized Spacer
Nice and sturdy plastic spacer. Easy to shape on the sander. Nice for when the shotgun stock is hallow and you need to put on a Kick-Eez. Great when you need something for backing against the Kick-Eez or spacing.
