How thick can it be applied and does it dry or remain sticky?

It applies thin, and does a decent job of penetrating. This product does dry completely. Feels sort of like latex when dried. This is a barrier coating, so a thick build really wouldn’t accomplish anything.

Mostly to semi-transparent with a yellowish-brown tint. So it will basically look like whatever it was before but slightly darker with a brown tint.

would this work to prtect welded aluminum pipe boat top, florida sun & saltwater with drentching and salty air, protect and not feel greasy to hands??

I don’t think it’s going to work for something that you have to touch . Would be great for the inside of the tubing.

Is this suitable for rustproofing the inner surface of a steel bicycle frame, and how long will it last in there, mostly protected from outside?

That would an an excellent application for MaxWax and even more so, because In an enclosed area, the VCI (vapor phase corrosion inhibitor) would protect any metal surface you missed coated. In an enclosed area, I would expect 5 years or more of protection.
