Difficult to say which is better, the story narration or the illustrations.
It is a delight to watch kids enjoy Bhakti Mathur's story books on Hindu Mythology. The beautiful combination of simple, child-friendly story telling and the eye-catching illustrations make them a must for young kids. I had a real to taste of it when our 4 year old grandson, Siddarth Rao listened to the reading of Bhakti's "Amma Tell Me How Krishna Defeated Kansa" by Alexa Sharples.

A Fabulous End to the Krishna Trilogy!
The last in the Krishna Trilogy, "Amma Tell me how Krishna Defeated Kansa" is an action-packed book with something we all love - a Happy Ending! Bhakti, once again manages to beautifully retain the essence and depth of the mythological tale while simplifying it for young readers. Maulshree literally brings the story alive with her illustrations! A complete delight for kids and parents too!

Simple and sweet...
Bhakti and Maulshree have been a great source of inspiration and help to all the parents who are eager to teach their kids Indian Mythology. The illustrations are very lyrical, and the lyrics are very illustrative!

Good Mythology Story For Kids
This is the story of Krishna’s adventures, Fighting Kaliya, a demon in snake form, And lifting a mountain on just one finger, As a shield from an angry god’s thunderstorm. And finally, the story of how evil Kansa Tried to kill Krishna, with methods so grim. But be they an elephant or ace wrestlers, No one succeeded in harming him!Story is written in very simple yet effective language. Illustrations used on the story is very eye catching for babies. Though he is too young to understand the story but I'm sure he'll love reading it once he is old enough. I will love to explore more books from Amma Tell Me for my baby.I recommend all this Mythological Books for all the parents. Check more books from @ammatellme 's page.
