Hario V60 Glass Coffee Server, 1000ml, Black

Works really well for making V60 pourovers. Wide, flat, stable base, nice and compact. Pours nicely into my narrow mouth thermos without dripping.

Love this pot! The smaller one (450 ml) holds exactly one small and one decent cup of yummy pour-over coffee.

Wasn't the right size for me as I ended up making 400-500 ml recipes so I got a 500/600 ml capacity one instead. Looked great though, retained heat well, great price point, easy to clean.

After brewing my pour over directly into the mug, I upgraded to a carafe and am very happy. It has a cool style and makes me feel like a pro.It was a little smaller than I expected and the two cups that I brew fill it up about half way. I would not recommend going smaller unless you only ever brew one (small) cup at a time.It looks fragile, but it seems durable enough, as I have set it down hard a few times with no breaks and it has survived the few times I have put it in the dishwasher.

I use this the opposite way to how it's intended.It's marketed as a vessel for making pourover coffee into. I usually make pourover directly into the cup, and if not, I do it into an insulated thermal container. I wouldn't use this pitcher as the receptacle because it's not insulated and does not seal.I fill this pitcher with filtered water and boil it in the microwave and then use it to pour into the pourover or French Press. It's perfect for that because it's made with borsilicate glass that can withstand the heat without cracking and it has volume markings, so you can see how high you need to fill it.

Needed a carafe to put under my Philips 3200 coffee machine. The 700ml fits perfectly! Anything taller would have not fit. I'm wary of it breaking as seen in other reviews so I'm treating it extra gently. I wouldn't call the glass thin or thick; it's ambiguously in-between.I'll try not to shock the glass as much as possible and avoid plunging it in cold water or bumping it into my cup when I pour. The black top-closure pops in quite snugly; because of that, I'm also being gentle when I take it in and out. It doesn't retain heat as well as an insulated steel carafe. It stays hot for 1-2 hours in our kitchen. Perhaps 3 hours but I haven't actually checked. I wish I could find a trusted brand carafe that lasts as long as 6 hours that is built in this exact shape and transparent, but where? Haha. This is as close as I could find for now.

The glass carafe that came with the OXO cold brew unit accidentally broke and this is a perfect fit for replacement! The lid has a nice tight fit and the glass seems to be very good quality.
