Beautiful book about feelings. Perfect for children with cute images and examples so they can ponder on their feelings, and also a great reading for those learning to read.

My 3yr old love this book. It's simple explanation of emotions/feelings with drawings that grabs a child's attention.

Great book to explain grief and loss to a child.

One of my favorites! This book teaches children about their different feelings and emotions. (good for adult learners as well ) The book is sturdy and made to last; the paper quality is exceptional and the illustrations are colorful and fun. I have a re-purchased this book several times as gifts.

I love that this book is all about feelings and puts pictures with emotions. Very pretty read

I bought this for my grandsons and they love it. The youngest read it out loud to all of us and then the middle one read it to us. I love hearts and they do too so the hearts in the book were a big win! It is colorful, simple yet even my 10 year old grandson enjoyed it. And, Mom said they’ve been reading it at home & applying what they are feeling based on what they learned from the book.

I found In My Heart on a book store website while I was looking for something new for my 3 year old twins. I had never heard of this book, but after reading reviews and looking at sample pages, I knew it would be very good! I love how the introduction says "My heart is like a house with so many feelings living inside", because it's easy for a child to understand. Then each page has a different emotion: happy, brave, mad, calm, broken hearted, sad, hopeful, afraid, silly, shy and proud. It's important to understand all emotions, and the author has described them very well. But even broken hearted doesn't make the book sad! It says we need extra kisses! The order of the emotions is perfect and it ends happily. The last page asks "How does your heart feel?" and I was excited to hear what my daughters would say. I thought they'd choose from the book, but they said "Just right!" :) They love to quote from books and have already started doing so with this book. It's hard to choose a book when you can't actually flip through it, but I am very happy with this one and would recommend it to anyone! The colorful hearts are a nice touch too!

É um ótimo livro em inglês que fala sobre sentimentos, como professora de idioma, utilizei como recurso para aquisição de vocabulário e acho que valeu a pena! Como é uma história relativamente maior, sugiro para crianças mais velhas, de 8 anos em diante.
