for Women, PerfectFit Wrist Brace for Wrist Support - Left

I love this brace. I own two of them, one right, one left. I have pain and inflammation issues. I wear the right-handed brace when I'm having pain issues and doing activities which are hard on my hand and wrist - such as lots of writing or drawing classes. When I'm having a pain flare I wear both left and right braces at night, because they prevent me from contorting my hands/wrists into an uncomfortable position in my sleep. I have a more flexible ACE hand and wrist wrap which I use more routinely, I tend to reserve this Wellgate brace for more severe pain days. The brace restricts movement. When I wear it, my handwriting is not as coordinated because the restriction is unnatural. It's perfectly fine for other activities such as typing. The brace is very comfortable. The inserts are plastic, so more flexible than metal inserts. The brace is well padded. I don't have red welts after wearing it all day. I've owned the right handed brace for a year, I use it probably a week out of each month. So far the velcro straps have held up perfectly. The supportiveness is still good, but it is more flexible than it was when new. I will probably have to replace it in another year due to the loss of rigidity. The fit is good for me, it is a slimmer fit than the "unisex" braces I've used before. I am not tiny, my wrists measure about 7.5" but closer to 8" when I'm having a pain/inflammation flare.There are two negatives for me. The brace can only be spot-cleaned, so the white color that it is when new gets dingy pretty fast. However I do like that it is white, light gray, and a little pink, compared to the solid black ones I've owned before. The other negative is the inner slip. I wish it were a little longer, I'd like to have it completely cover the area between my hand and the velcro. I end up angling the velcro tabs to the center to avoid the sharp feeling of the velcro touching my skin. If the slip were a little longer, this wouldn't be a problem.

Omg i cannot stress enough how great this is! Ive tried literally every single kind/style there is for my right hand/wrist pain that comes from multiple issues. I have carpal tunnel but i also have tendonitis & because of this i have SEVERE pain in my wrist and also in the heel of my palm. The pain in my palm makes me want to push into my palm to relieve it & this is the ONLY brace that supports my wrist on front & back, stabilizing it completely but also so the splint covers the heel of my palm as well. The others I've tried dont quite fit correctly, some are too low & most are too high, that they go up to my fingers but don't have enough compression in the wrist & palm. Idk if it's because it's specifically made for women, but it is JUST RIGHT!!! It sits very low on my palm so it's far below my fingers but it compresses exactly where it needs to on the heel of my palm & my wrist. Even tho it is compressing & tight enough, it doesn't feel uncomfortably so because of the memory foam, which is not too thick, just enough to make it comfy! The material is sooooo much softer, lighter & more breathable than any of the others that CLAIM TO BE! I always pulled them off & I'd have strap marks & my skin would b red & sweaty & itchy! Not with this one! I can't say enough how perfect this is for me personally! I'm sure everyone's anatomy is a little different & everyone's pain is slightly different also so not every product will suit everyone's needs the same, doesn't mean they're poor products, but for me, this is it! So grateful to have found this! As a mom, i dont have time to b in pain & not have my dominant hand working lol. Also, i have to say it looks alot cuter than in the pics, just as a side note lol. It is light gray & white with pink on the inside, so i love its look also - better than all the black ones that draw attention instantly!

Just ordered my second set of these to have one to keep at work. The other set is still going strong after... I think 2 years... of use. I use them for long sessions of PC gaming at home and long typing sessions at work.These are exceptionally comfortable and supportive. My first set I tried was by Mueller and the velcro wore out on them very quickly and they got increasingly uncomfortable the longer you wore them in one session (hot, stiff, stabby). These are quite the opposite! They seem just flexible enough that they keep me from bending into bad typing habits, but not so stiff that I feel restricted. They also breathe well, so they don't get too hot. The velcro is holding up nicely and NEVER stabs me like the Mueller ones would. The cushioning has also held up nicely too. They have aged well and formed to me and my habits while keeping the product integrity.Something important that you might not think of:If you are a PC gamer, the ability to react quickly on the keyboard is essential! If bracers are too bulky, it slows down your input time. It takes some getting used to with any bracers, but these feel slimmer and less bulky than others, so I don't feel as inhibited.Sucks if you are a guy since these are targeted at women! The inside is pink and the emblem is a little purple "W." If you don't mind that sort of thing and you also don't have giant man-hands, then you should just get them anyway because they are awesome. I think I have larger hands for a woman and these fit me well. I can see them fitting a man with slimmer or smaller hands.Anyway, buy these! You won't regret it.

I have somewhat smaller wrists, and after having a mostly favorable experience with this same brace for my right hand, decided to go for this one.Pros:+Results: wrists feel better after wearing for 30 minutes or more. I have used them while sleeping and I can say it helps overnight as well, though I do not normally wear them overnight.+good, solid construction. I have yet to find a place where stitching has come undone at all. The velcro still works incredibly well. Taking on and off is easy and the size makes them easy to carry around. Seem to be built to last.+Mostly Comfortable. The padding on the brace itself is soft, and somewhat pliable (somewhat easy to adjust if you happen to put it on off tilt) I usually will tighten the brace quite a bit, to get a reliable, firm hold, and my hands still seem to get decent circulation. However, wearing overnight, I would have to loosen a bit, which seemed to cause some itching, still fairly comfortable overnight though. Typing with them is no big chore, though I find using a mouse pretty difficult, but that goes for all wrist braces I believe.+Slightly Breatheable. My hands never seem to get clammed up from too much from perspiration. Then again, most oft I am wearing these for light tasks and office use only.Negatives:-Excessive tightening can cause discomfort around the valley between the thumb and forefinger. Although on the measuring charts, My hands fit, even with only a firm amount of tightening, slight discomfort remains. I think this is an acceptable amount of discomfort, though I can't but think my hands may just slightly too large for a perfect fit. (I am 5' 10" and approx 150 lb.)-The biggest issue I have with these though, is the itching sensation i mentioned in the previous section. Itching seems to occur when I have them on for 30 minutes or more. I think this is due to the tag they have mounted inside the brace. The tag is about an inch long, and 5-7mm in width, and is sewn into the bottom left side lining. While the tag flattens well, and is soft, it creates an irregularity between the arm and the brace, and creates friction when the arm and / or brace shift from turning or movement. Longer I have them on, the more I move, the more apparent the itch is. I am afraid cutting the tag will only increase irritation, and so I make due with the slight itch.Conclusion:Since my purpose for these is short term relief anyways, I find them nice for what they provide, but I doubt I would be able to use them consistently for long term relief.Edit: I have been using these for awhile now, and the itching issue has dissipated slightly with use, but not gone away completely. These are great for short term wearing (going to take a meal soon, but want immediate relief for a few minutes). Their best advantage is they are very easy to get on and off, where other brands are not. They still don't fit me perfectly, but its not so much that its a huge deal.

I'm pregnant and suddenly got carpal tunnel syndrome. My hands, particularly my fingertips (except the pinky) have gone numb, feels like pins and needles, and has a burning sensation. It is so hard to go about my day and do simple things like open up a bag of chips or jar. My OB said that while there's no way to cure carpal tunnel since it's part of pregnancy, especially in the 3rd trimester, it helps to wear a brace throughout the day and night to help stabilize the wrist and allow blood to flow. I have tried a handful of different braces here on Amazon, including compression wrist sleeves but I had issues with all of them whether it be comfort, quality, or range of motion. I decided to try this brace from Wellgate and so far it is my favorite. It's more rigid than the ones you can interchange between right and left hand but it does a better job at stabilizing my wrist AND the cut off by the fingers are low enough to allow more range of motion which is what I need during the day. Also, it is very comfortable to sleep in. My terrible carpal tunnel symptoms are still there but I find that the pain is less when I wear this brace. I almost returned this the first time I got it because it didn't seem to work, but I gave it a chance by wearing it for an entire week before making a sound decision. I can honestly say that this one is worth getting. The fit is also meant for women's hands and wrist. The velcro strap isn't very long so there isn't an access of material to wrap around your wrist. My hands don't sweat when wearing this all day and night so it is very breathable. If you're pregnant and have carpal tunnel, I highly recommend this product. Shortly after, I developed carpal tunnel on my left arm and so I will most definitely order another one for the left side.

I've tried several other wrist braces and this is the ONLY one I've been able to find that met my criteria:1) It doesn't cut into my thumb-I tried a few that all had material too taunt or made in such a way they hurt or rubbed the skin around my thumb and index fingers2) It doesn't gap anywhere-it's flush with my hand and I have good range of motion with all fingers3) Adjustable straps that work well4) Fits a smaller wrist5) Inside seams don't rub against my skin6) Just generally appears well made; I could tell pulling it out of the box it was better constructed than others I've triedIt is a stiff brace-I can feel the supports within it, but I wanted a more supportive brace to wear at night so this works for me. I also like the neutral colors of beige and white in the brace. Overall, it's the best I've found. I was nervous to buy it because it doesn't look like it's free returns, so I'm glad it worked out.

I bought 2 sets of these wrist splints about 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and given a referral for surgery. At the time I was pregnant an unable to have the surgery so my doctor recommended wearing splints. I tried many different brands that were very uncomfortable and made my hands hurt and tingle more than they already did. My husband is also a sufferer of CTS so when I stumbled across these after days of research I bought us each a pair as a final attempt using splints. To our surprise they have helped us tremendously. They are comfortable to wear and breathable. We wear them to bed and they have reduced my night pain and numbness by 90% allowing me to get more restful sleep. I dont wake up every 20 mins. now in agony shaking my hands to regain circulation. They are very durable. I just replaced the left hand splint after 4 years yesterday because the splint finally broke. I have been able to wash them on delicate cycle and air dry without issue. I highly recommend this product. Now that my kids are older and more self sufficient hopefully I can have to surgery and not need them anymore but in the meantime they have been a life saver. I no longer have to sleep upright in a recliner with pillows under each arm just to get an ounce of sleep.

THEY ARE MY FAVORITE - AND THEY ARE NOT "JUST FOR WOMEN" I am very much "MALE" - 6' 2" TALL - weight 180 - I wear large in shirts, and size 46 suit coats. I have never been confused for a woman. I have had wrist pain for over 40 years. The cartilage in the wrist bones is gone by X-ray and CT scan. I wear these braces on both wrists during physical activity. I have a storage box full of wrist braces - and I do use others occasionally for specific tasks - like painting. HOWEVER, for day to day use --- these are the best for me. I don't have small hands. I wear "medium" in surgical gloves -(size 7 1/2) - and these braces are a TINY bit hard to get on - but I use baby powder if my hands are moist. They fit me perfectly - and I have no idea why they continue to sell them "FOR WOMEN". I use these for computer and wood shop work, They prevent the pain that occurs with heavy yard work or construction jobs. They don't restrict my needed flexibility. They provide great support without the "binding" that make some unsatisfactory. I have tried at least 30 different braces -(the ones for men) ----- and these GIRL braces are still the best for me. I just measured the smallest diameter at the wrist - and it is 7 1/4" on the right. I launder them with normal wash cycle - I don't use the dryer on these.

These fit well & provide good wrist support

The best wrist support I have ever tried! Over the years I have purchased numerous wrist supports to treat carpal tunnel and though many give the support needed, the comfort is lost and vice-versa. This support gives both comfort and support, washes up beautifully [ I wash in the machine and air dry], lasts for years and doesn't look so bad either. After years of use and washing, the velcro straps will eventually stretch and not grip as well as they should but definitely attributed to normal wear and tear. Perhaps it is important to note that I have small hands [size 6 glove] and finding a perfect fit is difficult but this support fits perfect!Other reviews suggest a cleaning issue with wrist supports in lighter colors... personally, I think we wash our hands on the regular and so, our wrist supports require the same treatment. I keep two of these at a time... one to wear and one to wash.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia, and my hand is often inflamed and painful. The product has proved useful, and the padding etc of the product is very comfortable.

Very comfortable, worth the money.
