No it's not quite that long. But it is very durable. I have been using mine to haul backpacking gear for over ten years, and my kids and I use it sledding. Get it

Maybe at slow speeds. The wider, black, more heavy duty sleds would be better suited for pulling people. Slow speeds and caution are strongly advised!!!!!
