Well, I took one for the team and bought one for testing. Looks like I get the first crack to review it.How these tubes are suppose to work is that they, allegedly, ionizes the water surrounding them and change the pH balance of the water to a more alkaline nature (less acidic) in the process. And this, supposedly, will let out body absorb the water quicker and more completely, meaning less gets urinated out of the body.After drinking from these exclusively for 3 weeks (I let water sit in the container for 20 minutes and pour out into the water pitcher on the table, which I drink from), I have to say these do work.I now drink about 6 cups of water a day, and don't feel thirsty at all, versus drinking about 10 cups a day regularly. I do believe it is because I am able to absorb the water into my system more completely and easily that I can get away with drinking less of it. I made sure I didn't change any part of my diet in any way to get as accurate as a result as possible.I am actually testing this product for my personal BOB (bail out bag). I live in California, and with the current drought we're in, any SHTF event can cut my water supply line. In such a situation, I need to make EVERY DROP of my water supply count.Treating water with these little tubes first means that my limited water supply goes about 40% farther than otherwise. This means that I can last 40% longer as well. For those of you who have never stored water in house before, let me tell you that WATER IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO STORE IN LARGE QUANTITIES BECAUSE OF SPACE.This little gizmo just saved me a ton of space by extending my water supply ~40% farther.Why the four stars then? Well, it is expensive, and money is needed everywhere these days. So you have to decide if it is worth it to you. Being an apartment dweller though, every inch of space is needed for something , so being able to effectively expand my stored water supply by roughly 40% without using any extra space IS WORTH IT TO ME.
