They are great batteries, they last a long time and I love the price. 👍🏻
I love Thease batteries because they last a long time and they are very easy to remove from the pack just by turning the plastic wheel and they come out the back without any problem. And they will not work until you remove the little tab so the surrounding air activates them.👍🏻 and I love this price.👍🏻

Senior Accessible Hearing Aid Batteries
These came in packaging seniors can open. As best I can tell all of these zinc air batteries are non toxic, yet CPSC requires them to be in senior proof packaging. (Please don’t tell them!)

Last box not good.
Revised: Rayovac responded promptly. Asked for pics of packages with expiration dates and other relevant info. Received a full refund check for entire purchase. Great USA Company! I ordered another 80 pack and just got 6 full days from the 1st pair of batteries. All good! Just got a bad batch and Rayovac made it right! Have purchased multiple times in recent years. Quality has always been great. Rarely got a dud but the box purchased in April ‘23 is proving to be a different story. At first a couple were “short lived” and now steadily experiencing more bad ones. Just had 6 in a row that were dead or only lasted 30 seconds to a couple hours. Contacted Ray-O-Vac customer supportvia email so we’ll see what happens. Used Duracell for decades but switched to Ray-O-Vac a couple years ago as they are made in USA.

New package is way too hard to open.
I have been ordering these batteries for at least 10 years—just clicking on “Buy it again” in my Amazon order record whenever I was running low. I have always been very satisfied with them. However, my most recent order (Feb 2025) arrived in a new “child resistant” packaging that is an absolute deal-breaker.This new package, which looks superficially just like the old ones, is not merely child-resistant, it’s human resistant. Whereas on the old package, you merely had to bend down the tab on the back of the package, then (if necessary) turn the disk containing the batteries until a fresh one was visible through the window on the back of the package, and dump the fresh battery out.To get a battery out of the new package, you have to use (sharp) scissors to cut out a pie-slice-shaped piece of the whole package , and then insert something like the tip of a pocket knife between the two layers of plastic surrounding the battery, and pry those two layers apart, freeing the battery. When I realized all of this, I looked at my most recent order and checked out the ad listing. Sure enough, while the photo shows the old packaging, there is, in the description, the notification:“ • 100% NEW certified Child Resistant packaging. Make sure you are sitting down with your battery pack and a pair of scissors, ideally over a table. Carefully use the scissors to cut and open the pack and access the hearing aid batteries one by one. Think of this as like cutting a slice of a pie.”I sure wish I’d read that before reordering.I have been used to carrying one of the (old-style) battery packs in my wallet. I tried pre-cutting one the new packages into six pieces (still connected at the center), but if I pre-pried the plastic apart, the batteries fell out. If I left the prying for when I was actually trying to get a battery out, I had to wrestle with that process wherever I happened to be when a battery died…except for the time when I had to change a battery inside a performance hall that prohibits carrying things like pocket knives, and subjects patrons to a metal detector search at the door. I just had to try to hear the rest of the show with one hearing aid.Fortunately for me, I found in my dresser, an old, partially full pack of out-of-date 312 batteries that I purchased while traveling out of town a few years ago. This pack functions the same way the old RAYOVAC ones did. So, I emptied the out-of-date batteries into the “take to recycling” bag, and put new RAYOVAC batteries into the old packaging. I’ll just have to do that with the rest of the latest RAYOVAC shipment. However, the next time I need to replenish my supply of batteries, I’ll be looking for some that aren’t such a hassle to open.

Plastic batteries are in way to hard to open.
The product itself is good. The packing of the batteries has been changed that is terrible. Supposed to be child proof, but not for just anyone. I tried different ways to open and actually cut my finger on the plastic. We actually have take a hammer to crack the plastic to get to the batteries. Way too hard. The other plastic was very good. If the plastic is not changed will not order again. I liked the multiple packages of the batteries and the price , but do not want to use the hammer to get to the batteries.

Hearing aide batteries
I really find the new safety packaging horrible to try and open. I wish there was a different system than having to cut open the package, has been inconvenient when traveling. The batteries work fine, but really unhappy with the difficulty of opening the packages.
