Not sure if it works on "spawn of Satan" spider species
The outside of my house has so many spiders living on it/hiding under eaves/ dangling outside my front door ALWAYS at face level/watching me sleep and planning the next stage of a full takeover that it may as well be the house from Arachnophobia but with several undead spirit guides trying to get me to do their bidding instead of one, while I also play the part of fat white man previously played by John Goodman. For some time, I've assumed they were genetically bred by the government to keep my focus off the disaster our country is turning into, thus remaining complacent as the world descends into chaos. Oddly enough, my house probably has more evil creatures on it than the number of evil people presently serving in both houses of Congress. That's a helluva feat. Put another way, the only place crawling with more unthinking horrors of nature looking for prey to tie up and drain is Twitter, but I'd say we'll pass that number once the spiders take over the internet and force Jack Dorsey to start dressing and acting like an actual person instead of some tasteless exercise in douchebaggery. I digress. To summarize for those just tuning in, there are a lot of spiders on my house. Seriously. A lot. I bought this stuff instead of the other brands because a spider landed on my phone screen while I was browsing and I threw my phone against the wall, which resulted in this purchase. When it arrived, I was happy to note that the bottle wasn't full of spiders (yet) and devised a battle plan. I emerged from my car (where I now sleep because spiders don't like Fords) as night fell. After several hours of belly crawling silently, I had made it to the front door. I carefully aimed at a group of them sitting there looking smug, probably talking about how awesome being just the worst is. As I began soaking them, it became clear they weren't immediately dissolving into a pile of steaming goo/ Gwyneth Paltrow's next awful beauty product. I sprayed until my hand could spray no more, and while I did knock one off the house, I'm pretty sure he had actually fallen over laughing with his little jerk friends. Also, spiders laughing turns out to be a thing, and that simply doesn't seem right.Despite this not working for evil incarnate insects, I did have some success killing other bugs after garrisoning outside in a bid to starve them out by cutting off their food supply. And by success I mean failure, because while this worked to kill other bugs, it turns out these eight-legged creatures feed on human misery, much like the Kardashian family. And much like the Kardashians, they continue to thrive despite not being of any value to anything.I did eventually find a solution---and by solution I mean total failure resulting in spreading the problem around and making it way worse--'by burning down my house. I stand by the logic of that tactic, but sending a bunch of flaming spiders running in all directions caused several hundred other fires around my city while also not killing the cursed things because, duh, they're from hell. I'm considering next steps now, which will likely involve a lot of holy water along with a lengthy session of confession with my priest where I ask forgiveness for all my sins, including burning down the church. If that doesn't work, learning to live and breathe underwater will come next. If that fails, I'll probably just move to Los Angeles---which has more awful creatures per square mile than anywhere outside Australia--and willingly give in to purely evil culture.

The product REALLY works. Sprayer doesn't.
Product is GREAT. It's the best thing I've found to get rid of sail spiders that like to build black webs on my home within a few days of painting and powerwashing. The sprayer on the gallon size does NOT work.

Effectiveness
Its effectiveness is not as powerful as I hoped. I sprayed the concern areas but later that evening seen new webs. Not sure how long the product works.

Pass on this
This seems to be mainly for flying things and spiders. They die quickly if sprayed directly, but this doesn't seem to work as a deterrent. Non-existant customer service. Nobody answers the phone number provided and the email address you are referred to is bogus! Not going to waste money again with this company.

Not as pictured
Item delivered was not as pictured, there was no sprayer attached to the 1 gallon bottle. I'll have to get a spray bottle to use the product.

Insect Control
Sprayed a number of ants that were on our bathroom floor. They died instantly and no odor from this spray which we like. Even the moving ants stopped crawling once this hit them!!

Keeps pests outdoors!
I keep seeing articles about cockroaches & bugs building immunity to the chemicals & pesticides used to try to combat them, well they’ve obviously not tried Eco Home Defense. Granted it has to be sprayed more consistently, but I prefer the natural choice & safer option for my family & pets! It has been very effective at killing the cockroaches, ants & spiders I do not want to share my indoors with.
