Is the earring part of this box for stud earrings or drop/dangle earrings?

Is there anything written on the box e.g. that it's made in China nor name of the company or is it a pure plan box?

There's no writing of any kind inside or outside the box. The one I bought is just a plain, dark blue, soft, smooth velvet on the outside and a cream-colored, soft, smooth velvet on the inside. No writing anywhere. It's a really nice box. One thing, though: when I took it out of the package it was sent in and opened it, there was a kerosene-like odor emanating from it. I left it open to air out and a couple of days later the odor was completely gone and has had no scent at all ever since then.

How do I avoid getting a fake version of this box?

I do not know about that but I ordered mine off of Amazon and it is perfect in every way. LOVE IT.

What’s the maximum height of a ring that fits in this box?

This is not a ring box. It is for necklaces.
