An enlightening read.
If you want to understand the level to which the ancient Tamil culture was advanced, then this is the book to read. It is more focussed on the ancient yogi, Boganathar who were one of the 18 alchemist of ancient dravidian India. He conducted research on herbs and made an idol comprising 9 different herbs ("Nava bashanam" in Tamil/sanskrit) so that water that has flowed through this idol protects humans from infection and improves immunity. Read both the parts. Amazing read.

An Informative Text
This is a fairly good translation. Somehow the spirit of the text gets lost though. It is a bit too sanitized.Never-the-less I am grateful for the translation. It is very informative regarding the Nath tradition, which is very close to my heart.

Exploring the Siddha Tradition
"The Yoga traditions of India have been frequently neglected. This book, the first in a new series, seeks to remedy this situation. Dr. Ganapathy and his team have labored hard to launch this series, and they do so with the most illustrious masters of Siddha Yoga--Bogar. This volumen is a great starting point for exploring the Tantric Yoga of the Siddhas."Georg Feuerstein, Ph.D., authot of The Shambhala Encyclopedia of Yoga."

Highly recommended for spiritual aspirants
I began reading this book after beginning practising Babaji’s Kriya Hatha Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga). It is absolutely phenomenal. The book contains the original twilight messages of Babaji’s gurudeva, Boganathar, accompanied by their multiple English translations. I learnt so much from this book. It tells exactly what one needs to do to achieve liberation. It isn’t impossible. One only needs to desire it more than anything in this whole world.Powerful verses that taught me things I never knew of ever before!!!!True seekers of truth need it read this. They will be cleared of so many doubts and confusions. You won’t have to go around in circles when you start reading verses from Babaji’s own gurudeva.Highly recommended to spiritual aspirants.
