Superior language tool
This is an excellent language learning game that promotes speaking and forming grammatical sentences. I have all the levels of Kloo and have given them as gifts The beauty of the game is it is a teaching tool and doesn't require a specific vocabulary or proficiency level in order to use it. There are also several additional games that can be played that can be found by going on the website mentioned in the directions. The only prerequisite for using these cards is the ability to read. I am a retired foreign language teacher (a different language from the cards I ordered.) I only wish I had known about this fun and educational game while I was teaching.

Fantastic for Middle Schoolers
This really helps middle schoolers who struggle with word order in a new language. The color coding really works for them and they are processing important information without realizing it. I recommend three students per group/deck of cards so that you can use the game in a 20 minute window of class time. In 20 minutes, 25 points is a good goal to set to determine the winner. The game is very easy to learn and very effective. The point system is easy for students to track. If beginner Spanish students are playing, I recommend introducing the adjective agreement "challenge" element of the game after students have played KLOO two or three times.

Good concept, amusing but little replayability
Creative and amusing way to study. As a person who is awful at memorization I got quite a few games out of it before it became really boring. There were also times where it felt like we were harangued by the hands we drew with little way to fix it. Overall it feels more like a good concept that needed more development to really be something able to be used over and over. But for an one again off again or refresher it was fine.

Awesome game! My kids really enjoyed playing this
Awesome game! My kids really enjoyed playing this. At first they were a little leery, but after playing a round, they got into it. They now ask to play it, and enjoy learning the words. My kids range from 11 - 15, and they enjoy card games already, so that helps also. I took this to my adult education Spanish class, and we had a blast playing. The teacher, a native Spaniard, was very impressed and plans to order this for his other classes. Great game, and I would definitely recommend.

Interesting idea
If you are learning Spanish, this card game can provide some variety in the learning process. They are well-made and colorful. The idea is fabulous. So, the three stars is because of three things: 1. After you've played them a few times (like three or four times) you'll probably have mastered the words, and then it's a bit boring. There's only so many times and ways you can make these sentences before finding it to be no challenge at all. 2. The number of verbs to other parts of speech doesn't seem to come out right, so that you may end up with extra cards that you cannot play. We solved this by stealing some prepositions from the other decks and by making more noun cards out of the "directions" cards. And 3. For each deck they use only two subject conjugations on the verbs, and one of the decks uses the vosotros form for one of the two. For those of us learning Latin American Spanish, the vosotros form is not very useful. We've also remedied this by changing the vosotros forms to other conjugated forms. So, in a nutshell, if you have the money for a game that you won't use for long, or if you are teaching and therefore have a variety of people who will be using the cards, then they might suit you. For those of us buying these for our family, well...not such a great investment.

Fun conversation game
Easy to play! 8 yo nonspanish speaker, who has taken spanish lessons for a year and I found this fun and easy. She likes to tweak the rules and make long, Silly sentences, still using the idea of following the colored arrows to decide which word comes next. We have both learned new words, better pronunciation, and conversation. The variety of sentences keeps it fun and interesting. We take it everywhere, as it is an easy card game that doesn't take much space or time.

loved it
I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to learn Spanish. I've read many books, but found this the most helpful. The cards made is easy to form sentences. They're colorful. Me and my wife played with these for hours and continue to do so every day. My Spanish increased as a result. No problems or complaints. You will be glad you bought these. I plan to buy other items.

This game is great for those who don't want to revisit their school days and the dreaded 'vocab' learning from dull lists in a book. I want to learn Spanish as my brother lives in Spain, and when visiting him I don't like to be the one sitting around the table grinning inanely at his incomprehensible friends. 'Hola'...then silence. Classic. Might as well tie a hankie on my head. The cards give foolproof prompts to allow you to make correct grammatical sentences immediately. Although very simple sentences, they enable you to learn basic words in a surprisingly short time. After a week of use, at around 45 minutes a day, I had learned the two decks pretty much completely. That's around 60 new words that I didn't have before. Take off the hankie. I thinks that's a testament to the Discovery Learning technique which this game employs. One has to search through the cards to find the meaning of the Spanish words, and this process means that other words are constantly being read and their meaning reinforced. Up until now I have only used the deck as a solitaire game, as my Spanish wife says she is too busy - at least I think that's what she said. Things can get confusing. But, nevertheless, I really do recommend this as a learning aid. I imagine the board game that can accompany the decks would increase the playability for a group of learners.

After reading the reviews for Kloo I decided to pick up Packs 1 and 2 of the Spanish set. I've been trying to learn the language for a while and found other products to be quite dull, "flat" and repetative. That's not the case with the Kloo system at all. It's easy to get to grips with, interactive and provides great gamification. One real positive for me is the portability of the product along with the easy set up for solo learning. I'm finding it especially rewarding during the current situation. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kloo cards to others. Esta fantástico!

A brilliant, natural and tactile way to learn some Spanish. Son who hates all the text book type learning loves these. Colour coded for different categories of words. Bought packs 1 and 2 and a couple of weeks later bought packs 3 and 4. Certainly helps the flow and format of the Spanish sentence. A great buy!
