I didn’t expect to like this movie. Mainly an all original story and they did pretty well with it! Definitely a recommendation for any death note fan

Enjoyable!
I really enjoyed this live action Death Note Movie. This is a later Installment film. So know that this one takes place after the first 2 movies.

A surprisingly fantastic sequel!
The movie is really great. The acting and effects are top notch. The plot isn’t quite as clever as the original Death Note manga/anime, but it’s a very effective supernatural thriller/detective story that easily tops the 3 original live action films. I honestly wish it had been a longer miniseries. I want more of this. I was skeptical but if you like the anime, I’m happy to say it’s definitely worth your time.(You can find the prequel web series Death Note: The New Generation (poorly) subbed on Dailymotion. It’s not necessary to see before this but would have been a nice inclusion)
