The chain and the drive axel stopped rotating. Smoke and a burning odor came from the engine and the plastic engine housing melted. Prior to the melt-down there was plenty about the product that was unsatisfactory. The engine was difficult to start. The chain seemed to stretch each time I used the saw and adjusting the chain tension was difficut and time consuming. Even removing and installing the gas cap was difficult and time consuming. The threads on the gas cap were misaligned and a pliers was needed to remove and install it. ### ⭐ NONRETURNABLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. WOULD WORK BETTER AS A BOAT ANCHOR THAN AS A SAW. This machine sat around for 90 days in the box before we needed it. After a HUGE wind, we had a downed tree needing removal. Alas! I have a "new" chainsaw. And we start cutting away. It cuts well until about an hour or two into the project when the clutch froze solid. I run out and buy another unit at retail to finish the job. Later that week this vendor claims 'out of warranty' and wants nothing to do with the warranty issues. I really don't care about the $90. What is reasonable and decent is what is important. This company will not honor warranty after expiration, if at all. I do not recommend this vendor! They are here for the sale and not for the long-run.
