Retro Toy is a Winner
This is a day one review but I can say the size shape and playability of this toy is perfect. Takes me right back to 1976 (GenX here). The 8 year old boy is fascinated with it and enjoys the changeable game cards on the back. Perfect toy to push summer boredom away for a while. Would be a great road trip toy. Seems well made and sturdy for a plastic toy. Definitely age 8 and up.

Great help for my young spellers!
Need help with spelling? I got you!! This game has been nothing short of a miracle!! It was truly helped both my 6 year old and 8 year old spell better!! They also don't realize they are learning because it's a electronic device and a game. Two things they rarely get in a day!! Its age appropriate, easy to use and keeps them engaged!

Nostalgic
My grandparents had these at their house when we were kids. While not the exact same, it was pretty close. Unfortunately the top part leaks a tiny bit when you tip it over to reset the game, otherwise, very pleased

It leaks
I purchased this for my 9-year old son because I thought he would enjoy it as much as I did when I was a kid. I loved that it was a fairly simple screen-free toy. While he has had fun with it, I’m disappointed that it constantly leaks. It seems no matter how well we put the stopper in the top, it still manages to get water on the outside of it. We followed the instructions given on the package for filling it, etc, so I don’t know. Maybe we just got a dud. Otherwise it works okay and has entertained my son.

Fun and good for eye/hand coordination .
Engaging, calming and fun. Well made for the money. Size is good for kids and adults. Versatile back grounds to change out. Not heavy and is portable in the car, trips. Doesn’t leak water. Will by more.

Thumbs Up
Sounds like the original and works well. Only thing different from the original is it’s much lighter.
