I think these are a fabulous value for the money. The overall look is similar to higher end designer lamps that I’ve seen, and these are a fraction of the cost.The navy and white is definitely more of an off white vs a stark white. It’s like a dirty white maybe, with an almost grey-ish cast. This worked really well for our room, which has a mix of antiques, but I would have been super disappointed if I were looking for a clean crisp white.The shades would have been ok, but were really too white for the color of the lamps. Also, the quality of the shades didn’t seem to match that of the lamps. HOWEVER, one of the shades arrived significantly dented. I contacted Safavieh and was told they didn’t have any replacement shades. I was able to find shades that were a much better match color wise, with a slightly more angled shape. In my opinion the new shades really elevated the lamps and they now look like much more expensive pieces than they are.I wasn’t happy about the cost of new shades, and if one hadn’t arrived damaged I probably wouldn’t have replaced them, at least not for awhile. However, in end they look fabulous, and make a big difference in the room!

I ordered the lamp from Amazon Warehouse and was nervous it might arrive broken, especially since the package was MIA for a few days, and missed the prime delivery window. That said, the box was in better shape than I thought it would be and all components were present and in working order. The lamp itself is quite unique and beautiful. It should be noted that the 'white' part of the lamp seemingly refers to the shade, as the base is more a cream with navy swirls. This wasn't an issue for me, as the white shade provides a bridge to other white elments in my bedroom. However, it might bother others? Nice that bulbs were included. The gold elements are almost like gold leaf. They are really gold, I'd say like 24k. Love Safavieh lamps and this one definitely will keep me a fan of the brand.

I gave my daughter 2 of these lamps for Christmas. They are much yellower looking in low light than the online pictures. In daylight they look like the online picture. We liked the amount of “movement “ they added to the room.

I love the lamp! The shade is a bit off in color. It’s bright white but the lamp is a more beige white. I would suggest a cream colored shade instead but the lamp base is just gorgeous!

Gorgeous light received compliments. Did return as it is a larger light than expected for intended area. Good for wider table should’ve taken note of dimensions.

The whirls of blue on the off white are so lovely. Having 2 bulbs allows for the intensity of light to vary. The pull chains are so convenient too. We love the lamp and get continuing compliments on it.
