eWM review
Organized in a logical and concise format, this book walks you, step by step, through the required considerations for designing and configuring your eWM system. I especially appreciate the balance between functional and technical considerations that are highlighted, making the book of great value regardless of your role. If you'll be considering or implementing eWM, this is a must have for your project(s).

With a little background in SAP EWM I found this book very constructive and helpful. A real must have for any EWM consultant. All topics were described and many configuration settings and implementation notes were added. At the end of the book RF and PPF were shortly described. In my opinion a little to rough and quickly written. Like the authors getting tired and referring to information on the SAP Market place of sap help. If these two topics were also described in the fashion the rest of the book actually was, I would have given that 5th star as well.Still a very good book to start with if you want to get to know EWM or as a reference book.It would have been great if a SAP WM book was written in English with the same quality as this book, But I guess you can't have it all. This EWM book is very recommendable.

... just a copy of now on-help and make readers disappointed. But
Most of SAP book is just a copy of now on-help and make readers disappointed. But, this is an excellent reference book. EWM is quite sophisticated. The book explains applying the system configurations to real warehouse operation. It also cover the configuration. Highly recommended!!!

Must have for SAP EWM consultant
SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is completely separate architecturally from former SAP WM product. SAP AG started developing EWM a few years ago, but the product has gained important customers within the last 2-3 years. This is the warehouse management software product where SAP is investing its efforts and money - and this is the way to go today. This 800+ page book is an essential reading if you are serious about implementing SAP EWM. Starts from warehouse organization, shows how to integrate SCM EWM with parallel SAP ERP system, explains WM processes (especially those new in EWM) and shows how to customize the system in a way to make it work for your warehouse processes. At the moment, I would say this is the best SAP EWM book on the market. Must have!
