Almond Breeze Dairy Free Almondmilk, Unsweetened Chocolate, 32-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

As a diabetic, I have to watch my sugar intake. Being non-dairy, it has no lactose (natural milk sugar), which can spike blood sugar. It also has no added sugar, so I can sweeten to taste with non-sugar sweetener. I don't drink milk of any kind by itself, but I do add it to my morning protein enriched latte, which I typically drink iced. This adds a nice hint of chocolate, as well as a little creaminess. Some cold brew concentrate, or Community Instant Coffee and cold water, a scoop of no added sugar protein powder, and 12 ounces of Almond Breeze Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk, a few drops of sweetener, blitzed in the NutriBullet and breakfast is ready to drink. Without the protein powder added, it's a nice afternoon pick-me-up.My only complaint is the wild fluctuation in price from one time to the next. I try to to stock up when I find it fairly reasonable, because it's impossible to find it in my local, very rural, shopping area.

I have an allergy to milk products and I am diabetic. For years I have used a variety of unsweetened soy milks. They have gotten better over the years but, are not the greatest. Also, too much soy in the diet really messes with the thyroid. If you have any health issues, your thyroid will get hit even sooner on a heavy soy diet. I had to learn this the hard way.I have tried other milk substitutes: rice, hemp, coconut; all were either too high in sugar, too heavy, didn't work well in cooking or baking, didn't taste good, too expensive or all of the above.This unsweetened Almond milk, chocolate or plain, is delicious! I've used it in lattes, baking, cooking and even drinking it straight and I love it. It's smooth, light tasting and doesn't leave that after-taste that many soy drinks have. I have even given this to people who didn't know it wasn't real milk and they didn't notice the difference. AND, it is very reasonably priced. It fits right in with the soy milks and cow milks as far as price goes. I would strongly recommend this product.NOTE: If you are a full fat milk drinker - this might taste more like 2% or skim milk to you.

I have to watch my carbs and hate diet sugars. This is an unsweetened chocolate milk and I’ve never found it with any other brand. It gives a chocolate milk fix without the sweetness which is hard to describe. It I really love it. It’s good in coffee too.My only complaint is that I wish they sold them in smaller batches because my last batch don’t have a long expiration date and I couldn’t get through them fast enough.

This is the best tasting chocolate almond milk in my opinion. It also has cleaner ingredients while being minimally processed. I have putting this in my protein shakes for over 4 years now. I was purchasing from the supermarket, but this is a better deal for your money. The milks came well packaged in a box. Nothing was leaking and all the bottles were sealed.

I have looked all over in my grocery stores for this unsweetened chocolate milk. I do low carbs and I was dying to try this. I could drink it right out of the car and cold but I add a little stevia and it's delicious. I also made some chocolate pudding sugar-free with it it came out delicious with sugar-free whipped cream on it. It was only two something that container

I love this unsweetened chocolate almondmilk so much. I put in my coffee every morning. This brand does not react with the coffee as other brands do, so the flavor is smooth and mellow with a nice hint of cocoa. I get it on Subscribe and Save so I never run out. I don't care for dairy milk much, and this is the best alternative I've tried. It's now my first choice. Recommend!!

Update: Seller contacted me and said the milk cartons were back ordered so they are refunding me for the 4 that I didn't get. Seller was prompt in responding, I just missed their return email.Original review: Bummed out because I previously ordered these with Amazon as the seller and they were great. Amazon as a seller didn't have them available this time so I had to order from another seller. I paid a little more to go with a seller that had better reviews - didn't do me a darn bit of good. Only got 8 cartons, instead of 12 and they were just thrown into a box (see pic). Many were banged up, but I think they'll still be useable (hopefully). Nothing was leaking, at least. I have emailed the seller to see when I can receive the 4 they didn't send. I will update my review if this gets fixed. This product, itself is fine and good, so my review is primarily for the seller.

I love this stuff. It does not have a big chocolate flavor and it isn't sweet. I use it as my base for my morning iced latte and mix in my daily chocolate protein powder with my Stok coffee shots. It works out great and doesn't add to many calories. I will continue to order here. I have had an issue with some shipping from Amazon where the boxes break open and milk is spilled but they always take care of me.
