Knorr Prandell 6462081 1-Piece Wire Copper

From two coils of wire I made 80 circles snipped and wrapped around empty toilet rolls. The wire cut and twisted very easily and every one was threaded over a bedding plant and left on the soil surface. Apparently copper wire ‘electrocutes’ slugs and snails. They’ve done a perfect job. Could not be more fit for purpose.

Basic copper wire. Not tinned. Easy to handle.

I kept reading about slugs and snails being repelled by copper so I thought that I would give it a go. My bird feeder has been invaded every night in this extremely wet weather. So I wound about a 4cm collar of this copper wire halfway up the metal pole upright supporting the bird feeders. And to my delight I haven’t found any snails on the feeders now for over two weeks.

Done the job

As described, came before delivery date. Using it to encourage my plants and vegetables to grow. Seems to be working

This product is particularly good if you need something to bend around other things and the thing that bends needs to be made from bendy wire. This does just that.
