We have four of these in our house... it started off as a gift a couple years ago for my young adult who hates light so much she tapes over the red power button on the air conditioner! She is now a sailor with our United States Navy, and even on deployment, her Ostrich Pillow is the first thing she packs! Not only does it block all the light, but muffles sounds and also serves as her pillow! She uses it on every flight also to get some rest.Since that first purchase, we have ordered three more... one for myself, and one for my other daughter and my son. Everyone uses theirs regularly and I love how it fits each of us perfectly. My little girl is a teeny tiny 10-year-old and every sleep mask we have gotten her falls off.. except for the Ostrich Light. She loves it... she sleeps at the front of the house and gets a lot of noise/light from the road, but sleeps so much better with her ostrich! My son, on the other hand, has a massive teenage physique and this pillow/mask fits him perfectly too... helping to keep out the noise and light at the college dorm, giving him a better night's sleep. And me? I just like it... it's comfy! I also like that they have different colors for each of us, and that they just get tossed in the wash to keep them fresh.great product!

I'm in love. I don't normally leave reviews so this is rare but I just need to express how great of a company Ostrich Pillow is -- they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy and believe me I'm happy.The Pillow itself is amazing. it's great used as an eye mask because it blocks out light 100% -- the pillow is so comfy that you could rest your head on a corner and you would not feel the hardness but rather the soft luxurious comfort of the material and stuffing - in case you need it tighter the strap in back tightens to give a more "fluffed" tight feeling. The Bead for the strap in back has a hole so when you reverse it it doesn't bother or irritate - in fact you really can't feel it !Only con -- be careful when adjusting strap the capped endpoints of the elastic strings can come undone if you are too forceful but it's just a cap you can glue it back or leave it off it really doesn't bother at all or look badI'm very happy with this product and more than happy to give my business to a great company who cares such as these guyscheers

I give it one star because the idea is great and the pillow was initially comfortable for a trip and for sleeping. But there is no lining and tiny white plastic balls constantly leak from it. There is no hole that I can see. it seems the balls just work their way through the material--you can see them just sitting on the surface. Put a close-knit cotton lining in it to hold the tiny balls inside and I'll buy another one.

💕Pillow alert!!!!!!! MUST READ!! 💕First I will say I have chiari malformation and one of the symptoms is severe intense pressure headaches. I just got it and it's amazing, let me tell and show you why. First it's soft padded and reversible. Second it can be worn at almost any position on your head and cover your eyes also for light sensitivity which I get at night. Third it has an adjustable band that goes all around and you can make it super super snug to help relieve the pressure headaches ( when my head hurts so bad I'm always trying to hold my head but can't hold all of it with my hands of course so this is fantastic. I was at a 9 headache and can say it's now a 4 with the pillow only on for 30 minutes! Lastly it goes over your ears to muffle sound which for me is amazing because it drowns out sounds even my toddlers while still being able to hear and not have plugs shoved in. This is the PERFECT chiari pillow and I will probably wear it all the time and bring it with me everywhere.💕💕💕 addition it's practically weightless and YES you can put ice packs inside! I already just recommended this to everybody. If you suffer from headaches get this pillow!

TL;DR: the goofiest eye cover you’ve ever overpaid for. Not a true neck pillow!Ok so all the people who said it blocks out ALL light are exaggerating. Try this simple experiment:1. Turn on all the lights.2. Put this over your eyes.3. Smoosh it down onto your eyes, forehead, and bridge of nose so it makes a good seal (FYI it blocks your nose a bit so hopefully you’re a mouth breather!).4. Open your eyes a little and wave your hands in front of your face.Did you see a shadow? Yeah, that’s because it’s not blocking 100% of the light. Sure if you smoosh it just right you won’t have gaps around your nose, but there is still light coming THROUGH it.Pros:-light! I was shocked at how little it weighs. I HATE heavy things around my neck (necklaces, halter tops, etc.) but this is light as a feather.-works ok as a leaning pillow, but it’s a bit hard for my liking. Yes it squishes, but when squished it doesn’t have the cushiony give of a regular pillow.-reversible-I guess you could wear it as a scarf but it’s kinda dorky-it does feel kinda nice wrapped around my head like the migraine/chiari woman mentioned.Other cons:-no neck support!! What?! This was disappointing since that’s what I bought it for (I thought it would be more versatile than those huge ugly toilet seat-looking things). If I bend my neck to the side I reach the kink point before I reach the pillow. I tried it as tight and as loose as it goes and various points in between. No dice. I do have a long, slender neck so YMMV. Leaning my head forward is a bit better as it props up my chin a bit, but it needs to be pretty tight to work and you might not find it relaxing to feel a bit strangled.-there is a faint weird smell. Not plasticky, but slightly minty. I’m super sensitive to smells and I didn’t find it that bad. OK, OK, it’s actually kinda nice.-makes an ASMR wooshy noise in your ears. This could be a pro for some people I guess¯\_(ツ)_/¯-not washable. If you’re greasy, sweaty, or wear makeup choose your pillow colour with this in mind.-leather tag is scratchy-sewing/fabric look kinda cheap so I doubt it will last. My starfish-shaped stud earrings caught on it so be careful about jewelry!-polystyrene isn’t renewable (and these days probably not even recyclable)

I have had the full Ostrich Pillow for a few years and loved the feeling of it, but honestly never really could find much of a use for it or muster up the confidence to wear it on a plane. Plus, it was a bit bulky to pack.Then, in comes the Ostrich Pillow Light and I couldn't be happier. I haven't traveled with it yet but you know what I have done? Slept with it on nearly every night since I've gotten it. It's incredibly light and comfortable both on my eyes and at the nape of my neck where I bring the pillow down a bit. And the elastic for adjusting pressure/tightness is a great addition, as is the reversible, simple, clean colorway.My room gets quite bright from natural sunlight in the morning but some days I would think that it's still the middle of the night due to the Ostrich Light's ability to block out light perfectly.I know that I will be packing this whenever I travel now. And since it doesn't look that much crazier than a regular eyemask, I won't feel strange wearing it in public on an airplane, unlike its larger predecessor.

My daughter loves the pillow. The first one was bought due to extensive travel with a Division A college team. Her teammates were so jealous...and it helped her get much needed sleep on many long bus trips. Unfortunately it only lasted a year an somehow got a hole and all the beads started falling out. However this year when she was going to travel to Thailand I bought her another knowing how much she loved the original. Well she just got home and it is intact and she loved it.

I bought this pillow because I need complete darkness in order to fall asleep. I used to sleep with sleep-masks, that left marks on my face every morning when I woke up. I now use this pillow EVERY NIGHT. Thus, unlike other customers. I did not buy it for travel per sé. Although of course I take it with on my travels (which are many and often involving overnight flights). But I can no longer sleep without this pillow now. Despite using it so frequently, the cover has no holes. The filling has reduced somewhat, but I guess that is to be expected. I'll just buy another one when the filling reduces further. Of course, I can fully recommend this and am thinking of buying more products in this series. Please keep producing them.

Warm, cosy and comfortable especially on flights, winter and reading on lounge/bed. I have bought a few in advance as xmas presents for friends. Well priced as well. Sabrina (Sydney, Australia)

It’s not really a neck pillow if that’s what you’re looking for. I am using it as a head support on my head more so than on my neck. I sometimes use it to cover my eyes.But beware once you purchase this product the seller would stalk you on WhatsApp requesting you to rate and review their products.Block. Delete.
