You can use Shiro Nuka in different ways: ① AS FACE WASH Mix one tbsp in 4 cups of lukewarm water. Wash face & neck with mix. Treat arms, too. Rinse well with lukewarm water. Use a clean, soft towel to pat dry the face. ② MIX WITH CLEANSER OR SOAP Lather soap. Mix a small amount of Shiro Nuka with your fingertips. Wash & rinse your face as normal with lukewarm water. ③ FACIAL MASK Mix two flat tsp with lukewarm water. Apply. Leave for 10-15 min. Wet fingers & gently massage around fine lines & wrinkles. I had read the book on Geisha skincare by the Tatcha foundress ("Pure Skin"), and when she mentioned rice bran being the first step of the four step Geisha skincare regime, rather than buy a high-priced formulation *containing* it, I immediately went to desertcart, thinking I'd just buy it direct like the geisha's did. They used it in small little bags, just like is done with this product. I've been using it as a daily exfoliant, and it gets the job done. Gentle enough for every day, but still leaves my skin feeling "scrubbed" and smooth. Very, very happy with this product!!! I only wish it came in a bigger size so I could stock up. :)

**Q: Is it good for acne skin?**
A: I am not skin expert but for the way my skin feels after I use it and what I've read about this product I am going to say yes. I have been using this product as a mask every week since I got it and I am very happy with it. Now acne can be very complex and it might depend on the type of acne but I think that it does help clear blemishes.

**Q: How long will it stay fresh?**
A: I've had the product for many months now. It's endured extreme heat (100+ F) and still carries a nice texture to it. I'm not sure what constitutes fresh but I am still pleased with the product.

**Q: how many ounces/pounds in a bag? listing said 4.6oz? and 1.1lb?**

I don't normally leave reviews but had to for this. I had read the book on Geisha skincare by the Tatcha foundress ("Pure Skin"), and when she mentioned rice bran being the first step of the four step Geisha skincare regime, rather than buy a high-priced formulation *containing* it, I immediately went to amazon, thinking I'd just buy it direct like the geisha's did. They used it in small little bags, just like is done with this product. I've been using it as a daily exfoliant, and it gets the job done. Gentle enough for every day, but still leaves my skin feeling "scrubbed" and smooth. Very, very happy with this product!!! I only wish it came in a bigger size so I could stock up. :)
