So far, it’s fine.
I do a lot of international travel and I always bring an adapter and converter with me. The DOACE converter and adapter is small but powerful. It’s so easy to pack, and comes with an easy to store pouch. I can use it on all of my devices: iPad, iPhone, blow dryer, and hot iron. It works great for use with power sources in UK, Europe and Asia—the places I’m using it for.First of all, it's not only for travel use, as it has a standard American power supply and can accommodate 3 standard plugs plus 4 USB charged devices. Since the number of USB charged devices in our household has multiplied over the years, this alone makes the DOACE a great asset.Secondly, when you do need to travel, this single device should accommodate most of your equipment. I must say that the explanatory product photos on the Amazon product page are very well done, and answer very well which kinds of devices need voltage conversion and which don't. Much to my surprise, most of the typical chargeable devices like laptops, electric shavers, toothbrushes, tablets, phones, etc, don't need voltage conversion, and can just charge off the USB ports or with the two blank white adapter outlets on this box. For the remaining few items that need conversion to American voltage, the outlet that is helpfully labeled with the American flag will always supply American voltage in any country. So this outlet alone converts voltage. The blank outlets will match the voltage supplied by whichever country you're in. Blow dryers, electric kettles, and other items requiring the American voltage should be plugged into the flag outlet. Finally pls don't hesitate you can buy one have a try .

Works well internationally
This converter worked great during my international travel. I was looking for a device that had a converter in addition to adapters because I had some devices that were not dual voltage. This converter worked perfectly for that. I did not get the chance to try using a blow dryer or flat iron with it though.I didn't expect this converter's power strip-like design to be as useful as it was but it helped me many times during my trip. The fact that it had a 6 ft cable made it easy to plug in devices without constantly needing to move around furniture to get to the wall outlet. The USB plugs were handy too as I was able to charge far more devices at once and didn't need to bring as many power bricks. Devices charged at their normal speeds. I would definitely recommend buying this over a single travel adapter since those may have trouble staying in the wall due to their bulky size.

2 items burned
Bought this for a trip to Europe. On the second day I plugged my power bank into the converter. After a few minutes there was a popping sound and the power bank started smoking. We quickly unplugged it but it smelled really bad in our room for a while and the power bank was burning hot and no longer worked. This incident tripped the breaker for our room and we had to contact management to flip it back for us. I figured it was the fault of the age of the power bank. Well today (12 days later) I plugged in the charger for my mom’s medical device and after a few minutes the popping sound happened again. The charger was burning hot, smelled of burnt plastic, and does not work anymore. This is not going to be as easy to replace as the power bank. Luckily we were in the room for both of these incidents because the smoke and temperature of the items makes me think a fire could easily have happened if we hadn’t been there to unplug it.Obviously, I cannot return this because I am out of the country, but I want to warn others about this product.

I don't know if it works overseas yet.
So you're probably wondering why I'm writing a review at this time. I won't be going to Europe until October and I wanted to put out there what I do know so far. It works just fine here in the states. The two plugs on the right side work with my hair dryer, which was what was most important to me. All four USB ports work just fine. What I haven't been able to get to work with anything I've tried yet is the plug under the American flag. I'm very confused about that plug, even after carefully reading the instructions. I think maybe you have to have a background as an electrician or an electrical enginner to understand it, but in any case, I'm keeping it just in case that particular plug becomes a necessity when I'm overseas. I will come back and update this review when I return from my trip.
