There are two little holes in the back so that it is very easy to hold while playing. It is perfect for those who love to sing on a boring day. Simple and lovable I would say!

UPDATE: I have received an email from Bindor and they apologize for the inconvenience and will be sending another Kalimba. Excellent customer service. When I receive the replacement I will update this review again. This product is well made and beautiful. I would give this 5 stars except it seems to go out of tune very rapidly. If the seller could help with this i would elevate this to 5 stars.

I'm very happy with this kalimba! Paint looks vibrant, and no visible chips on the surface. Clear sound, comfortable in hands.Only wish that the letter/note stickers it came with were smaller and pre-cut for easy peeling. They all arrived on one strip, and I'm not sure if they will fit comfortably on each individual tine. Other than that, happy with purchase.

Soft, quiet All my grandchildren can use it, ages 13,12,7 & 4. They all love it. I can sit on the couch and thumb out tones or play from the instruction book. Calming and soothing

We were looking for an easier instrument to introduce while homeschooling that wasn't a recorder! This product came packaged VERY nicely and included a small booklet on how to play including a couple easy songs! Very pretty and feels like it's made very well! My 7 year old picked up on it quickly and the whole family has enjoyed learning easy songs.

I kept seeing kalimba videos online and fell in love with the sound of them and wanted to learn. I ordered this for my first kalimba and I absolutely love it. It came perfectly tuned with a bag and hard case, tuning hammer, stickers, cleaning cloth, and a guide booklet. It is very high quality, especially for the price. I expected the cat face to just be a sticker, but it's actually engraved into the acrylic. It is a smaller kids' size, but I have small hands and it works perfectly for me. It sounds magical and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn.
