3M4218P Double Sided Acrylic Foam Mounting Tape grey 10mm x 3m

Used to hold 4 plug power strip to plasterboard wall. Does the job.

Having removed a part from my vehicle I needed a reliable, easy to apply, double-sided tape to replace it securely. I searched a lot of on line sites and compared many similar products and prices. The tape supplied by Dondo-Shop ticked all the right boxes! My vehicle now has the part firmly re-attached and looks as good as new. I am very pleased with the result achieved and I would recommend this seller to anyone requiring a first class product and first class service.

I used this to tape some picture frames on the wall. After one year I decided to take them down to replace the pictures. Unfortunately the tape was so strong that I removed the frames with part of the wall. As an advice, try to use a hair blower to heat the tape before removing it.

I bought the 3m Double Sided Acrylic Foam to attach a multi socket extension mains socket to a natural wooden desk. I needed the foam double sided tape deal with the undulations in the wood. I used 2 strips on my extension socket; and pressed it into the wood. Missing my target the first time i put it in place; the 3m adhesive allowed me to remove and then reposition the adaptor whilst still sticking firm. 3 weeks later its still in place; despite repeatedly plugging and unplugging things from the sockets.

Usually, adhesion is dependent on the surface it’s applied onto but this product has very poor adhesion with almost all surfaces that it’s intended to work with. Could work with other light duty but definitely not in automotive applications.

Used to mount a plastic coated poster, worked a treat and looked professional. I was worried it wouldn't be sticky enough but it was very strong.

I used this to stick a protective plate on the bumper, used most of it and its holding well 6 months later.
