AC DELCO starter for 95 Silverado
larger than original starter but worked fine. Started right up straight forward install.

It fits a Chevy 350 vortec small block. 1996-2000
I finally got a starter that works with a 350 Vortec, no shims. Just put it in and it starts right up. This is my third brand new starter that I tried. First one I purchased from Summit didn't work. Second one I bought from Amazon came broken up in the box. Took a deep breath and tried Amazon again and it came in great condition. Had no problems.

Reasonably priced, listed as an AC Delco authorized replacement.
Even though this starter motor was made in China it is packaged as an AC Delco replacement. No issues with the installation and spins the engine very well. Time will tell if it is equal to USA made part but as of now it works well.

Valued priced, easy to line up bolt holes for install, way better than the one at local part store
What I liked about this was that it was way larger than the one taken off my 99 k1500 chevy 5.7liter suv. It seems a lot stronger than the OEM, but it has a slight higher quick pitch sound at turn over that sounds strong when turning the engine flywheel, ha ha no more double start cranks for me to get my engine going. This thing is freaking awesome! It arrived a day early, the price was hella lower than local store prices, and the fit was quick, like less than 30 minutes to drop back in, compared to the OEM coming out. The only thing was the design of my heat shield from the OEM, that it didn't quite fit over the starter but with a little bending of the solenoid shield bracket and it fit right over it with ease even though it is 14 lbs. and trying to hold it with one hand while performing an upside down manual bolt it and alignment was a workout in itself, it was worth it compared to a labor shop rate to do a 15 to 30 minute job. For its size and performance, this thing is hella powerful to start your vehicle. I highly recommend this model, it was a easy decision based in part of the best sellers rank of#65,987 in Automotive (See Top 100 in Automotive) and #146 in Automotive Replacement Starter Starters compared to what else they had out there on the market to this one.

Don't purchase for a 98z71 5.7
From day 1 the starter had dead spots where if it stopped at one ot wouldn't turn over,then finally barely start. Got worse and replaced with proper gear Reduction starter, which starts like a new truck. Not, no hot terminations at battery or starter and over 10.8vdc across stater when cranking. The refurbished R613326B starter from oreilies works like it should.
