Women's Thick High Waist Yoga Pants Workout Leggings

Excellent stretch, great fit, true to size ( I am an M ); love the quality and the looks!!!

I’m really happy I tried these THE GYM PEOPLE thick high waist yoga pants. As a man who enjoys wearing women’s clothes, finding leggings that fit comfortably, look good, and feel right for both everyday wear and workouts is not always easy. These were a great find for me. The high waist feels secure without digging in, and the tummy-control fit gives nice support while still feeling comfortable enough to wear for long periods. What I like most is how comfortable and reliable they feel once I have them on. The material is thick enough to give good coverage, but it still stretches well for walking, running, yoga, or just relaxing around the house. I do not feel like I have to constantly adjust them, which makes a big difference. The pockets are also a big plus because I can keep my phone, keys, or small items with me without needing to carry anything extra. Overall, these leggings feel like a really good fit for me personally. They are comfortable, supportive, practical, and flattering without feeling too tight or restrictive. I can wear them for workouts, errands, lounging, or casual everyday wear, and I feel good in them. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

TLDR for short attention spans (scroll down for more commentary): they are thick, soft, firm but stretchy, mildly warm, and a little short for a tall girl. Thought about giving it a 4 for that but they are so dang nice I've decided to overlook it. If you are a freeze baby you might want a pair with thicker fleece and likely not rate this a 5 for that. They will hold you in like a soft hug. Nice! The real review with all the important details: These are very nice leggings. The material is thick and substantial, not flimsy or see through like so many leggings. They are super soft as well, both inside and outside. There is a thin fleece lining. It was so soft but I almost couldn't tell it was there (but that contributes to the thickness so, duh)! Since I run super hot I think these will be fine, but some will wish the fleece was thicker I'm sure. Might not be thick enough to sit on cold bleachers without a blanket. They have a pocket on each leg that will fit a huge cell phone, but there is also a pocket on the waste at the small of the back and my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra fit caseless with room to sparea. With my thick case and a pop socket on the back it also fit. Snug but none of it was sticking out. Nice touch! The thickness of these pants feels so good and is very supportive without being too tight. There is TONS of stretch! I am 5'9, 163, apple shaped and carry all my extra lbs in my waist. I don't have a long torso and it went all the way up to my ribs, with some compression but because of the stretch SUPER comfortable! The waistband is thick and doesn't dig or roll, bonus for us girls with a belly! I got a medium and for a second thought they would be too small. They look small but have Hella stretch! If you like your leggings very tight but not uncomfortably so, and are even a little between sizes, size down. It is a little short for my long legs, but that's the life of a tall girl. I wish they were an inch longer but because they are we so nice I'll keep them. The price for the quality is great! I plan to wear these to a football game this weekend and it is only supposed to be in the low 30s. I'll try to remember to update this (I mean actually. Not like all the times someone says that and you notice it has been 4 years since that initial review there is no update. Gah). Thanks for reading! What did I miss? These are hands down the best leggings I’ve ever owned, and I have tried SO many brands!! These are thick, but breathable, very comfy, have compression at the top but not so much that you feel squeezed and can’t wear them for long. They never ride down, which is one of my biggest pet peeves. I love the pockets. I have multiple pairs and basically live in them at home.

UPDATE: I did notice that if you’re sitting on something rough or not smooth like a wood bench, concrete, or even the ground, the fabric starts to pill/peel pretty easily. It wasn’t super noticeable at first, but it’s something I’d keep in mind depending on how you wear them. I really like these dark camo leggings from The Gym People. They look exactly like the pictures, which is always a win. I went with an XL as Amazon recommended. The waistband is pretty tight and does a good job holding your stomach in, which I appreciate, but around mid thigh toward the back of the knee it starts to feel a bit loose. not crazy loose, but noticeable. The material is soft and comfortable against the skin, and the leggings have decent stretch. They feel sturdy enough for workouts, though I’d be careful with anything super rough because the fabric isn’t heavy duty. The stitching seems solid so far, no loose threads, which is nice for the price. In terms of comfort, they’re good for wearing all day or hitting the gym, though I’d say the waistband can feel a little restrictive at first. I’m currently on a weight loss journey and already down about 40 lbs, so I’m hoping the fit will continue to improve as I lose more weight. Overall, I think they’re great value for money soft, wearable, and cute but just be aware that the fit can be a little uneven around the knees if you’re taller or have longer legs.

These have been great. Bought 5 pairs in 2024 and have used them every week. They are just now getting sheer/see through. So just bought 5 more pairs to last me the next couple. They’re nice and tight around the waist and they don’t roll or fold down during workouts. I can run in them, do burpees, deadlifts, and cleans with them staying in place. I am not constantly pulling them up. They’re not see through if you buy the correct size. They do feel more like cotton vs moisture wicking material. I am 6 foot, athletic but curvy build, & 220lbs.

HOLY CRAP!! I bought these after seeing my friend wearing a similar pair that had pockets and watch her phone not fall out. But little did I know the heaven that would grace my butt when I put these on. Thick, COMFY, supportive material. Stretch for days! Hides all that post baby belly chub like a dream! And the best part! The pockets! The fact that they exist is awesome but I decided, for science, to see just how mom friendly these suckers are. They hold everything and securely! As you can see in the picture that’s a full size bottle of rose in my pocket and trust me when I tell you I could run from the police in these things and trust that my precious pink (I’m referring to the rose...) is just as safe and secure as my kids once were in their baby carriers. Probably more so since I was never going to win any awards for tying those baby wrap things on... and the pocket was not stretched or bagged out after I removed the bottle, the material snapped right back in place like it was never there. If you do one good thing for yourself today it’ll be to buy a pair of these. Also, don’t worry when the package arrives and you bought your usual size. I went by the TTS fit and when I opened them up I thought they looked 2 sizes too small. But my self loathing insisted I try them on anyway and I was pleasantly surprised they fit just right. For reference I bought an XL and I’m about 5’-4” with long thick legs, wide hips, enough butt to get me in a Sir Mix A Lot video.

Very impressed. I have much more expensive gym leggings that fit and feel far worse. These have a nice sturdy feel to the material (not see through!) and don’t have that awful saggy gusset look. The waist band is soft and wide so doesn’t dig in. The leg length is also good on me, they come right down to the bottom of my ankle. Would recommend.

Lovely leggings, feel great on. I bought grey in size L. I’m 5 ft 7 and 147 lbs. Perfect size for me, I like that they’re high waisted. I wouldn’t say they are thick leggings as advertised but fine for wearing in winter

Sehr angenehm zu tragen, kein Rutschen. In die Tasche links passen gut 2 Padelbälle. Ich habe jetzt schon 2 von diesen Hosen. Jederzeit wieder

Love these leggings. Fit well, stay in place even during high intensity workouts and very comfortable. I bought several pairs, and will likely come back for some more.
